We had a gathering of five girls who met in college over 40 years ago. This home was perfect!!!! The side porch was right off the kitchen and very private. We had coffee there every morning while we enjoyed the roses. We spent our evenings cooking in the kitchen and dining on the front porch. The pantry and kitchen were both extremely well stocked with different sets of dishes, glassware, and every kind of cookware you could imagine. Cleaning supplies and kitchen towels, etc. were provided in both the kitchen and laundry room. The bedrooms were ENORMOUS and well-equipped with comfy beds and linens. Two of us slept in the back bedroom with two beds - if you have children, this is the most PERFECT room for kids! They have all the toys you could ever imagine for little ones, and there's also a game closet right off the "back" door foyer. Both bathrooms had ample amounts of toilet paper as well as towels, and the bedrooms had robes. The living room was also very large, and that's where the tv was. We never turned it on! There are several dining areas in the house, but we spent almost all our time on the front or side porch because the weather was perfect while we were there. It's one of the top three girls' weekends we've had, and we treasured every moment of our stay. You have to take the time to read the book with Rosemary's story and that of her friend, Jean. Just lovely. Very special.
