We loved the property. The rooms definitely can use a little updating, which I believe is being done. But the overall property is lovely and everyone is very nice and helpful!

Perfect getaway for a couple or family.

Get ready to experience a serene haven that will leave you rested and recharged. The staff is beyond great. The rooms are spacious and well designed and decorated. They have a keurig in each room!

everything was so nice and cozy. This was our 4th trip.

I need to get the lake side view room next time

Lodge is beautiful. Floors gleaming, no walls with peeling paint or scuff marks. Our room was big and the bathroom was super nice. There are restaurants on the property that are pretty expensive but there aren’t many good options off the property. The lake and beach are just steps away. Already wanting to plan another trip there.

long line, very slow to check in, take about 30 minutes waiting in line just to check in

certain food places weren't open even after i check website

When the hotel was renovated they did not put exhaust/vent fans in the bathrooms. Our first room had mold on the ceiling and a musty odor. However, after asking for a new room they quickly upgraded us to a clean room with a lake view. Easy access to the beach for a night walk. They require masks, which is nice. I wish they had a small convenience store open late to get things like milk, cereal, and better snacks for kids then just a vending machine. We did not utilize the restaurants because of social distancing but they did have some live music which seemed nice. Overall, pretty property and great pool.

Very close to everything! Room was nice but could have been a little cleaner.

We stayed here for a big international conference. I had to check out early for a flight and could not get a hold of someone before I left to get a invoice for the stay -- they had a $20 resort fee per day. It took me over a week, 6 phone calls, and 2 voicemails before someone could send me a statement that showed they had made the charge. Someone helped me at the front desk at the lodge, and then sent me to voicemail in the middle of it without any communication. This is unacceptable in my opinion, and has really made this trip a terrible experience. I have yet to receive the receipt/statement as of this review.

The propery is pretty and peaceful. There is, however, a charge eith everything...beach chair, paddle boats, etc. There is even a charge to enter the gardens, even though you are there as a guest of the resort. We had an issue with a charge that needed to be resolved, and I left five messages that were never returned. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired

We weren’t sure why it was called gardens. We came to see beautiful scenery and were very disappointed. We were told we had to see the chapel area, but it was not much more than a muddy pond. There were a handful of flowers in the “gardens”. Huge waste of time. Our sheets smelled like vomit and we had to call twice to request new ones. We ended up changing them ourselves at 11:00 pm. We would not recommend this property.
