The room was nice and spacious. The washing machine & dryer was extremely handy. The place while clean showed its age. The place was near metro (Tiyu Xilu station and Shipaiqiao station) and there were 3 major shopping malls close by (Grandview, PARC Central and One Link). The breakfast was okay and be monotonous if you have it 5 days in a row.

People are nice in the hotel, and the area is safe; however, there are lots of electric bikes driving on the sidewalk around the area. You need to keep looking at the back. It’s really tired for us to do it cause we have lived there for a month.

Great stay

The location is excellent, close to shopping, restaurants, and public transport. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very well-equipped — perfect for both short and long stays. One of the standout points was the staff — most of them spoke English, which made everything much easier and more comfortable. And I have to highlight the breakfast — truly amazing, with a wide variety of both Western and Asian options. Highly recommendable!

Apartment was as expected of an Oakwood property. Beds and sheets were very comfortable, with blackout curtains. Daily cleaning included. Good size rooms and apartments. Best was location. Great location close to the major shopping district and modern shopping malls nearby. Tiancheng mall is connected to other big malls and has one level full of gadgets. Lots of eating places nearby and in the big malls. Not that close to train station but we took Didi everywhere so didn’t impact us. Breakfast was so-so but so much other choice outside the mall. There’s a good, nice massage place round the corner called 玲珑时光保健会所.

A beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Our suite was amazing with fantastic views from the 27th floor. Close to a huge mall and lots of placea to eat.The only disappointment was the swimming pool was closed and i felt we should have been made aware of this before we booked. However we still had a lovely stay.

Concierge Chris made our stay very welcoming

We stayed for 3 nights, the 1 bedroom apartment is clean and cosy. Apartment has many lights so it is bright. At the time when I Check in and out, both receptionists are not so friendly, not rude either, at the same time, not very proactive nor helpful. Not all are like these two as I had observed, some are quite nice and courteous. The concierge Mr Chris Yao is amazing, he is very hardworking and helpful to all guests who arrives or departs. He greets every guests with a smile, help them with their luggage and escort them to the lifts. BTW, Reception is on the 15th floor. He introduced nice places and restaurants with good food. Guided us on how to use the Apps to take MRT. He is very friendly and approachable. He has 2 other colleagues who help the guests too but they seem very robotic. There are many nice eateries across the main road and Grandview Mall is diagonally opposite the hotel, about 5 mins walk. Train station is approx 10 mins walk. It is easy to book DIDI to get around and price is very reasonable. As it was my husband's birthday, the hotel gave him a small bottle of wine. Nice gesture.
