the Sauna did not work. I have one of these at home so i know how to work them. The flame would not stay lit. Also there were massive spiders everywhere in the cabin. really gross to sleep.

The beautiful location of this A-frame cabin creates a great place to escape reality and unplug from the noise of the world. Surrounded by trees, wildlife, a short walk to the shores of Lake Superior and a night sky with stars like you’ve never seen before. What more could you ask for? The cabin is cozy, clean and very well kept. We can’t wait to return.

I took my girlfriend there for weekend retreat exploring the nearby waterfalls and border. All within a short drive. The cabin is very cute, cozy, and peaceful. Gorgeous night skies. The only negative i can think of was the driveway. Extremely steep. Must have all wheel drive or 4x4. But, to be fair it does mention that in the description.

Our first off grid experience was a real treat at this lovely abode! The cabin was clean and tidy and well-equipped. Hosts were communicative and responsive. Would definitely book here again!

Solo hiking/recharge

What a beautiful/romantic little cabin. It was a much needed get away for me to shut off my brain and relax. It is very off grid. The only surprise I had was that the property is pretty closely shared with another cabin and only divided by a small fence. The listing made it seem like it was more remote. But overall, the stay was wonderful and had everything I needed. I will definitely recommend to anyone.

Perfect Fall Colors Getaway

We had such a wonderful experience staying here. Every detail was thought of and the whole space was beautifully built and designed. The bed was the most comfortable we have slept in at a vrbo! Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful Stay

We loved our stay just outside Grand Marais. The cabin was beautiful and a quick walk down to a secluded section of the Superior beach. We brought chairs down there and enjoyed the sunrise and sunset. The fire pit and stars were really nice at night. Please note that you'll need to buy your own firewood. You can find tinder littered on the ground to help get it going. The only draw back was the rain barrels were pretty empt and there is nowhere to unpack and place your belongs. This was my biggest issue. I wanted the place to feel just as cozy as it looked, but I didn't have anywhere to hide my backpack and clothes. Our second night we had some loud neighbors who played music really late and were annoying, but other than that it was great!

Off the grid get away

We had a wonderful long weekend off the grid in Grand Marais. Waking up in the middle of the woods was exactly what we wanted. The A frame was well decorated, cozy, and the perfect location to allow us to hit all the best hikes along the North Shore.

Like Staying in A Story Book!

My husband and I recently stayed at Gaucho Cabin for a night and it was nothing short of magical! Every detail has been thought of and we had everything we needed right at our fingertips. The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable. I spent time reading in the loft net during a brief afternoon rain shower and it was incredibly relaxing. Later my husband and I walked through the back of the property right onto an amazing hiking trail! We cannot recommend this property enough and cannot wait to be repeat visitors!

Amazing

This was the perfect solo long weekend off-grid in the woods. The level of small details that were present everywhere just made this such a perfect place to go, be quiet and reconnect with nature, even when sitting inside by the fire and staring outside. Would recommend this property 100% and will be staying again.

Perfect getaway

We were looking for somewhere to “camp” but with some of the luxuries of home! This place was absolutely perfect! You can tell the owners take a ton of pride in the house as well as the experience you have! The cabin is not only adorable and very well kept but every piece is carefully thought out. The owners do additional add ons to the stay that make the entire experience! If you want an incredible up north experience book this!!!

Peaceful and beautiful!

This adorable A Frame exceeded all expectations! It was wonderful to be off the grid for a few days. The space was clean, super comfortable and close enough to Grand Marais so that we could do some town exploration! Can’t wait to go back!
