We had a stranger enter the door code & attempt to enter the unit. Thankfully we had the deadbolt locked. The man was confused as to why were there and said he stays there full time. I immediately tried to contact the host repeatedly and it took him nearly 24 hours to respond. I told him more than once I wanted a refund as our privacy was violated during our stay due to his lack of communication with a (previous?) tenant. Also I have small children who were very frightened when a stranger tried to enter our unit unbeknownst to us at 10:30 pm! I haven’t received a refund either.
