Our host was always available by VRBO or What’s App. The location of the apartment is wonderful! The Albacain neighborhood is a very old and famous area that is hilly and not easy to get a cab/Uber in certain spots so get ready to walk which we loved and the cafes tabernas were plentiful. You are also very close to shopping and Alhambra. The apartment has everything you need and a little cold in the winter (we were therein January) but even then we enjoyed a glass of wine on the balcony to watch the sunset with gorgeous views of Alhambra and snow covered Sierra Nevada mountains!!

We enjoyed staying at Casa Gloria. There was a small hitch (the place was not ready at check in time) but the owners handled it well. We went out for a drink and came back to a clean house. The balcony is lovely and the apartment is comfortable. It is a 5 minute walk up a hill but that was no problem for us. The area is historic and very beautiful. A view of the Alhambra from the balcony was delightful. Gloria is easy to communicate with and is very responsive. We recommend this place.

We are pensioners and had booked this property for two nights at a cost of E 511 to fulfill our dream of visiting Granada and the Alhambra. We were partucularly attracted by the details including heating and property on single level because, after heart surgery and being on blood thinning medication, my health condition requires a warm bedroom at night. On the day of check in we noticed however that there weren't any radiators in the bedrooms. We contacted the host and asked for portable electric heaters as the night temperature was dropping to 3 C. We were told she didn't have any, just use and extra blanket. It got so cold though and we hardly slept. The next morning we both felt unwell, with a cold, and unable to do the things we had planned to do. Again we contacted the host, and ... were given a duvet!!! The only heater is the air con in the sitting room!!We think the host's description of the property was misleading and we wouldn't have booked had we known there was no heating in the bedrooms, where you need it most as the night temperature drops. We believe this is also a basic requirement in Andalucia and will take it further with the local tourism authority.

The view of Alhambra from the apartment was amazing! The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. Given the location among winding streets we needed Google maps to find our way home - it worked. Not a good location for someone with mobility issues due to the hills and you can't drive up to it. Gloria was an excellent host - she went over & beyond to ensure we were enjoying our stay. Will recommend to friends.

What a fantastic find to stay and explore Granada. Beds very comfortable and spacious. Bathrooms have loads of toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner. Kitchen had everything you need, there was olive oil, spices, coffee. Felt right at home. Terrace was incredible to sit on in the evening especially when it was cool and enjoy the views. In the heart of everything yet just off a busy little street so it was quiet at night to sleep. You can explore everywhere from here. I will say, you can’t drive or take a taxi to the place. You need to take your suitcases up or down cobblestones and stairs to get there. Well worth it, I would just say, having a big suitcase could be tricky. We travel with carry on so it was fine. My sense of Granada is if are staying anywhere in the old town, this is going to be the case. Gloria the host was very responsive and gave great recommendations. Enjoy!!!

The apartment is very nice and clean and spacious. There is a wonderful view of the Alhambra, and it is located close to many attractions, restaurants and bars. Gloria, the owner/manager was wonderful. The only drawback was the plumbing: we could not put toilet paper down the toilet. Also, the streets are so narrow, a car, including a taxi cannot fit in the streets. However, you can catch a taxi nearby. Overall, a great experience.

Wonderful, spacious place that is nicely decorated. Amazing views of Alhambra! It would have been a five star but we didn’t know that only two rooms had air condition, so we slept in the foldout bed. It worked out fine and slept well. Just something to consider if you planning on staying during hot summer months.

Alhambra family trip

place was quaint. Gloria was super attentive and sent us various useful tidbits of info. The location had great views of Alhambra but it is definitely not for people who have difficulty walking as it is uphill. Only issue is that the AC is in the attic room and the family room. The two bedrooms have fans which were not a problem for us.

Beautiful stay in Granada!

Had a wonderful stay at Gloria’s apartment in Granada. Perfect location in the Albaicín with spectacular view of the Alhambra from the upper living room and patio!The property was easy to find and we didn’t find the uphill walk all that difficult. Check-in was very easy and Gloria was very communicative the entire stay.

Lovely view

The view was as pictured from the upper room. The property was well appointed and clean. A few notes is the door can be tricky as you need the keys to also turn on the electicity and turn of when leaving, suggestion a battery motion light at the door to be able to see. Beds were comfortable and shower had great pressure. One suggestion is to upgrade the towels, but we had a great stay and the streets are fun to drive on!

This property is very special. If you are looking for an authentic experience in Granada- this is your place! Make no mistake- this area of Granada is not for the faint of heart! Tricky if older, have lots of luggage or dont like to climb. But magical to explore. Home is comfortable and has an AMAZING ambience, amazing views. Gloria is a helpful and available host who answered all of our questions. Definitely recommend!

Must see city and place to stay

Such a beautiful city and this place allowed us to enjoy it to max. Views out every window and balcony were as good as any public area, but without the crowds. Gloria was very accommodating and the home was so very well decorated. Highly recommend unless unable to climb hills and stairs.

This property is stunning. And with the views across the Albaicin and the Alhambra its a breathtaking spot to spend time in. The property is large with 2 areas to relax in as well as a kitchen space. The ceilings are exposed beams so beautiful and add character. The instructions to get to the property are compex, but were easy to follow. I would say thay anyone with limited mobility or fitness issues, this property is in an old neighbourhood with cobbles and narrow streets on steep paths. There is no lift which it confirms in the property details. We loved our stay in Granada and would happily stay in this property again.

Spacious and immersed in the culture

We had a lovely stay. There was plenty of room to spread out for our blended family with two teens. The immersion in historic Granada was perfect - with the incredible views, and winding Albacin neighborhood at the doorstep. We could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. (There are hills which we knew.) The apartment had everything we needed, and it was perfectly clean.

Beautiful apartment in a magic city

We had a wonderful time in Granada, and the apartment is beautiful, nicely decorated, and well located, and the view is simply delightful.There was an unfortunate problem with the wifi and wifi extender during our stay - alas, a disservice to such an otherwise great place. I understand that the owners are fixing that issue, so you should have a great stay.
