Excepcional casa frente al mar cerca del Parque Nacional Acadia, cálido y acogedor para el otoño

Un gran lugar para relajarse y disfrutar de la vista. Nuestros inquilinos están de acuerdo en que las fotografías no le hacen justicia. Una gran sala grande tiene ventanas de piso a techo con vista a la bahía, y tiene una chimenea de piedra para que pueda ver la puesta de sol o sentarse junto al fuego. La cocina está muy bien equipada e incluye casi todo lo que el chef desea, excepto la comida. Hay una sala de lavandería completa con lavadora y secadora. No hay necesidad de perder horas en la lavandería. La sala de recreación incluye una mesa de ping pong, juegos, cintas de video y TV vía satélite, así como una acogedora chimenea de piedra y una zona de descanso para relajarse y disfrutar del fuego o la espectacular vista de Frenchman Bay. La habitación de los niños está amueblada con una litera completa / doble, una cama para niños pequeños y un Pack n Play. Además, hay dos habitaciones bellamente amuebladas con camas de matrimonio. La casa se encuentra a unos 35 minutos de Bar Harbor, el centro de actividades en Mount Desert Island y puerta de entrada al Parque Nacional Acadia. Bar Harbor ofrece docenas de restaurantes y tiendas y también alquiler de kayaks y bicicletas.

Los excursionistas que prefieren senderos menos concurridos encontrarán que las cercanas Black Mountain y Schoodic Mountain ofrecen magníficas vistas panorámicas de lagos, estanques, Frenchman Bay y las Islas Porcupine sin la gran cantidad de excursionistas que se encuentran en los senderos más conocidos de Acadia.

What a beautiful property! We had a wonderful time staying here and waking up to the gorgeous views every single day was so relaxing. There is so much room in this house and we can’t believe how much we enjoyed the ping pong table. We found new skills we didn’t know we had!We loved being away from the Bar Harbor and the crowds yet it was an easy hour drive away. But within 10 minutes of the cabin there are great restaurants, a grocery store and some fun shops. Visit Acadia NP that’s on this side and there are great trails to be had. NO CROWDS!The cabin itself is fully stocked with every pot, pan, spices that you could need. You will need to bring your own shampoo and paper towels but that’s about it! Just grab a cocktail and sit on the wonderful deck overlooking the water. Would definitely stay here again. A week wasn’t long enough!

Amazing property! The pictures are as advertised but it’s more amazing in person. Great views and very peaceful. Great location to stay outside of Bar Harbor (about 45 minutes by car) but 10 minutes away from Schoodic Point entrance (a must see). The owner was great to work with, very responsive, and provided great recommendations on things to do. This is a must rent for families or anyone looking to visit Acadia. We will definitely rent this house again.

Beautiful house, perfect location. Short ride to Winter Harbor and Schoodic Point, the quieter side of Acadia. This is a second year staying here and absolutely love this area! Coffee on the deck facing Frenchman's Bay is incredible. After a long day of activity, bike riding or sailing, it was a comfortable place to end the day, preparing for the next. Washer & dryer make packing easy.

Relaxing

We so enjoyed our stay here. My favorite times were down by the water each morning and evening looking for sea glass and enjoying the views. We enjoyed a fire in the fire place on the cool nights. Such a beautiful place and little community.

Peaceful and scenic

House was immaculately clean and impressively spacious. The photos do not do it justice. The view was beautiful, and relaxing out on the deck during mornings and evenings was absolutely sublime. The beach down below at low tide was very enjoyable to explore. Excellent location for visiting the Acadia Schoodic side of the park--minutes away. Ferry to Bar Harbor was great too.

Spring break in Maine

The house was wonderful. Very a huge living room with soaring ceilings and a great view of the ocean. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and baking with spices and plenty of mixing bowls, lobster pot, cookie sheets. Beds and couches were very comfortable and seem relatively new.

Stunning property!

We had an amazing stay. The most stunning view from this large cozy log home. Loved sipping coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings by the beautiful wood burning fireplaces. Perfect winter escape. Rich was a wonderful host.

Perfect, relaxing getaway

This cabin was perfect for my family vacation. It was cozy and stocked with all essential items. The views were absolutely spectacular! We had a minor concern upon check in and the host was very responsive and efficient in helping us. I would highly recommend this gorgeous cabin and we will definitely stay here again.

Amazing View!

My husband booked this for us for our 40th anniversary, our first trip east--we are from southern Illinois. We found this cabin to be VERY clean, seems fairly new, and has an amazing view of the water. Each morning I got up, made a coffee, and sat out on the deck to watch the transformation from night to day--AWESOME! We travelled to various areas to shop and hike, and had some great food from local restaurants--of course you will want to order a lobster roll or some other seafood. It was perfect! We really love the cabin!

Idyllic waterfront home

A beautiful, quiet spot with wonderful views. We saw so many lovely sunsets. The lobster boats on the water were fun to watch too. The house was so comfortable and clean. The host even gave us a call to tell us about the northern lights which we were able to see. Amazing!

Beyond Beautiful

Beautiful property. House had everything we needed. Great open layout. Clean and comfortable. We were able to do laundry so we didn't have to overpack. Beds are hard to please everyone. We will bring our pillows next time. Master could use a topper to make a little more comfortable. Loved the property so much, we have already booked for next year. Location was perfect. Close to the Schoodic Peninsula which is part of Acadia, just breathtaking. We went to Bar Harbor but this area near Schoodic was exactly what we were looking for. Winter Harbor had several wonderful restaurants: Treehouse Seaside Grill, The Gallery and Chases. Close to Corea for fresh lobster rolls.

Amazing Peace

Gorgeous home with views to die for. Loved so much of the decor. Great location for day trips, we stayed so busy we barely needed the house! Our favorite spot of the week was the back deck at sunset. Will gladly recommend to friends.

Beautiful Property

This house was perfect for my family travelling with my parents. Beautiful scenery and very quiet. It is close to the Schoodic Acadia park. The only downside was that it was an hour away from the main Accadia park by car. The hosts were great and we definitely enjoyed our time there!

Wonderful stay on the Schoodic Peninsula

Other reviews are correct, the pictures don’t do justice to the wonderful house and beautiful location. The house is welcoming and well appointed. Had morning coffee on the deck and an evening beer out on the rocks to watch the sun set. Was a bit concerned that the location would feel isolated, but the small towns on the peninsula provided everything we needed. Great food options within a 15 minute drive. We took the ferry to Bar Harbor, did a whale watching trip, and hiked both parts of Acadia. Truly enjoyed our trip!

Lovely Maine Cabin
