The house was perfect size for 10 people with a beautiful view of the lake. We loved the deck and living area. Beds were comfortable but kitchen could use some new pans and more utensils and the front door keypad lock needed recharging. During our stay the gas fireplace was unusable, despite an attempt by a handyman to fix the pilot light. The owner, Camille, was always quick to respond to any concerns and we appreciated that! The firepit, canoe and kayak were great additions as well as fishing poles. Overall, it was good stay in a beautiful location on a quiet lake.

Great lakeside retreat! The kids loved the kayak and canoe experience, fishhing off the dock and the video games after dark. The firepit was a nice way to end the days. All 10 of us had a great time!

Enjoyed ourselves the week at Big Bass Lake. Spent 2 days at pool 2 days at the shore beach area, 2 days canoeing at local river and hiking. Kitchen was equiped for cooking meals...with 6 adults and 8 grands made all meals in the house. Thank you for allowing us to make memories!

The lake views/outdoor amenities

My group had a wonderful time at this lakefront home. You are paying for the incredible lake views and amenities that come with it. We loved the outdoor deck, utilized the grill, took the kayaks out on the water, went in the hot tub, sat out in the beautiful open space, and had kids and adults alike all enjoying their time. We were also blessed with beautiful weather that allowed us to enjoy these things.I think the inside left a little more to be desired. The majority of the beds were comfortable. There were a lot of printed signs up throughout the home reminding you to take off shoes, wash the towels, and all the penalties you’ll get if you don’t do those things. It was a little off-putting to the group to see those signs up. The house is in need of an update, but it functioned as you hope it would and serves its purpose. One of the baths could have been better cleaned, as we saw streaks of brown on the bath edges. Overall, this house is worth staying at, and great for a group!

Great house for a girls weekend!

This is a great house with space for everyone. We had a great girls weekend with 6 of us that went to college together. We cooked in a big kitchen, relaxed in a huge living room with plenty of seating, and everyone had their own space for sleeping. Great house with a beautiful view of the lake. Highly recommend!

Great getaway trip

Rented this 5 bedroom property on Big Bass Lake. First time renting with VR B O. Everything was great. Had good weather for all 5 days. Got a lot of use out of the kyack and hot tub. Also took a few bike rides. Found a few good restaurants and cooked in for 2 dinners. Great place.

Great place to rent

This is our second year renting this house! This house has everything we need from enough bedrooms, hot tub and lakefront. You never feel like you’re on top of each other since there are 3 floors. The house is clean and the beds are comfortable. Some light switches we didn’t know what it turned on, and one of the lights were out in the one bathroom. Would 100% recommend this place to everyone, it’s perfect and had everything we wanted.

Great week!

There were 9 of us, multi generational and the house was a great size. Loved the big kitchen table, multiple living spaces, sunroom and large deck. Dock is sturdy, firepit is big around and deep enough for nightly fires. Great lake and quiet neighbors. Camille was great to work with and responded quickly.

Fun for the whole family

The amenities were just as nice as we hoped they would be! It was such a nice convenience to have a kayak, canoe and bikes for adults as well as baby stuff like a bouncer and high chair. Camille was very responsive and helpful. We’d book again! My only complaint is that the upstairs queen bedroom didn’t have any curtains.

This property is great and spacious

Just wanted too say this property was spacious and beautiful. My family had a blast. The only thing That stops me from giving it a 5 star. Is that the Jacuzzi tub was dirty it seem too need professional deep cleaning. Everything else was good.

Friends Gathering

A group of us got together for a short vacation. The house was perfectly sized for us. Plenty of room! Everything was in great working order and we appreciated the pool table and the hot tub! Most likely we will be looking at this house again next year for our annual get together!
