5 stars: Super clean. Excellent location- in a good neighborhood in the old town, just a short walk to the center and restaurants. Bathroom- modern and an excellent shower. Well outfitted kitchen with good cookware and plenty of dishes, cutlery and glassware.3 stars: Despite being a half-timbered house, the lodging lacks charm. It is not comfortably furnished. A small table in the kitchen has 6 chairs but is best suited for 2, or 4 at best. The upstairs sitting area has a large lie down couch in one room and two chairs in another, but no really comfortable easy chair for reading. Upstairs bedroom has a very low ceiling. Steep stairs leading to the top floor sitting area.On balance 4 stars. The pictures are fairly accurate, so if you look closely and like what you see, you should be happy. My wife and I were not so happy because of the lack of charm and comfort.

Gemütliche Ferienwohnung

Die Wohnung liegt direkt an der Anzucht und was noch wichtiger ist, recht zentral in der Goslarer Altstadt, sodass alles fußläufig zu erreichen ist. Die Wohnung erstreckt sich auf das 1. und 2. OG. Dabei ist die Anordnung der Räume etwas außergewöhnlich, da man durch die Küche ins Bad und durch das Bad wiederum ins Schlafzimmer gelangt. Insgesamt ist aber alles sehr liebevoll gestaltet, sauber und durchdacht. Die X-Box mit diversen Spielen waren für die Kinder ein extra Highlight. Morgens denkt man erstmal, es regnet, weil man das Rauschen des Baches hört, bestimmt nicht nur für Großstädter durchaus beruhigend. Insgesamt hatten wir in Goslar und Umgebung eine sehr schöne Zeit. Dankeschön!
