Glynsk Pier Cottage is situated on the Wild Atlantic Way and enjoys some of the most spectacular views in south Connemara if not Galway itself.
The cottage provides a great base to explore the delights of Connemara and all its aspects, offering 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms.
There is an open-plan sitting room with comfy couches, an open-plan fireplace, a dining table seating up to 6 guests and a fitted kitchen.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms, 1 king-size bedroom with an ensuite bathroom & 2 double bedrooms with a full bathroom.
Facing west (glorious sunsets), you can see Roundstone, six of the Twelve Bens and Cashel Hill as well as many other mountains. Bertraghboy Bay lies between the cottage and the mountains and provides an ever-changing vista.
Near the cottage, within a 5km radius, are some of the most beautiful beaches in Ireland – quiet and unspoiled and great for open water, and safe, sea swimming. Further afield, in Roundstone, are Dogs Bay, and Gurteen beaches that are simply world-class in terms of their beauty. The visitor is spoiled for choice in terms of walks, cycling (cycle hire in Clifden) fishing and sailing.

Beautiful spot
Great location for a drive around Connemara, a visit to the Aran Islands and a day to Dog's Bay. One of the highlights was a close encounter with 3 cuckoos fighting over territory or a female. They called and circled for about an hour over the house.

Great week at Glynsk
Great little property in Glynsk. Beautiful area and everyone was so nice. Super easy check in process and was able to communicate easily with the host as needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking to spend time in the west of Ireland!

Great Location - Property a bit tired
The property is in a lovely remote location and there is plenty in the surrounding area to explore. The house keeper is really helpful and provided great information about the area and facilities - local eating places etc.
With regard to the property it is getting a little tired and wasn't too happy about the use of extension leads, one of which fed the fridge and didn't actually work. With the house manager's help we managed to sort this out. minor gripe - the curtains didn't provide any reduction in light which some might not worry about.
My main problem with the property is we were a group of five adults and one baby and the kitchen is just totally inadequate for that number of people. it would be fine to just heat up some simple food but not prepare a full meal.
The above said it was very clean and tidy and has a nice lounge area.

Wonderful House
We had a great time here. House is completly equipped with all things needed. Chairs and table to sit outside would be nice and bigger fridge as well. We really enjoyed our holidays.
