The location was excellent and the staff were great. Very helpful with directions, maps and info. The room was very big and the bed was good. There are lots of restaurants close by. Our room was on the back side and was very quiet.
Just an overnight stay so we did not spend much time at hotel other than to sleep. No meals there.
Our stay at Fraser Suites Glasgow was relaxing. The staff were eager to help us locate sites to see.

I understand the hotel is renovating the rooms and that is a good idea. The individual temperature controlled idea needs attention. We stayed in August on the 4th floor and our room was unbearably hot for most of the five days. There was no air conditioning so we opened the windows as wide as possible and used the fan that was in place in the room. The hallways were also very warm. The room was very spacious with good internet connections and an adequate kitchen. We used the microwave but did not really cook. The bathroom was huge with a very small "bar" sized sink which was not easy to use. The staff were in place but the only one who showed personality and made us feel welcome was Malcolm.
We were thrilled with the huge room we had, including a complete kitchenette, king comfy bed, and all sorts of extra bathroom toiletries. The hotel is walking distance from just about everything in Glasgow, and the staff are extremely helpful. They even have a shuttle driver that was easier to book to return to the airport than a cab. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
The hotel was nice, clean, well-located and spacious, but some of the ammentities noted on Obitz need to be updated or clarified. There is a shuttle service available, but it is not free and is only available very early or late in the day. Also the continental breakfast is provided at a cost. The Obitz site makes these services appear to be at no cost.
The room was spacious with a small kitchen. A fitness suite was very adequate. The location was convenient to the sites of Glasgow.
It was a pleasure to find ourselves in roomy comfort, very, very clean, superb staff giving every assistance to our stay. Mapping out points of interest and giving a verbal history of same, Malcolm certainly knows his Glasgow. What more can we say, oh yes, plenty of establishments within walking distance, with choices for all appetites. Could not have been more central. We were very satisfied indeed. Would recomend to anyone. And, to know you are world wide was an eye opener. Relatives who came to visit us were most impressed.
Tons and tons of room - 3 room suite for 1 person! Easy access to transportation, taxis, shopping. Tons of restaurants within walking distance.

My wife and I spent one night at the Fraser Suites during our last vacation day in Scotland. The hotel room was very nice -- spacious suite that was well-kept. The location was good in the sense that it was a very short walk to Argyle St, Sauchiell St, and other attractions. However, the room was very noisy from the traffic and other sounds coming off the streets below. Even the classical music playing on the provided stereo did not compensate. Hotel staff was very friendly. The provided continental breakfast was average.
We were in Glasgow for 2 weeks and stayed in a one-bedroom suite. Found it to be a clean, safe, and comfortable suite. We attended our daughter's graduation at the University of Glasgow and did sightseeing in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness/Loch Ness, and St. Andrew's. We did much walking in Merchant City and City Centre and used the subway to travel within the city. We traveled to other towns by train. Fraser Suites is in a super location with many nice restaurants, pubs, and stores/shopping options within walking distance. Train and bus stations are also within walking distance; a shuttle service is offered to some sights in the early a.m. and late afternoon. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice to have laundry facilities on site.
I went to Glasgow to visit my boyfriend for the first time. It was really great, we both thought it was cozy just like a mini apartment made for couples. I do believe we will be back.
