It's newly renovated and it made it the cleanest room I've ever stayed in. Breakfast area was simple but more than sufficient. Staff was very accommodating fixing a mix up on the booking.

The room and all of the common areas were very clean. All of the staff we had contact with were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was hot, and the attendant even made fresh eggs for us, even though the service ended in 20 minutes. We would stay here again for sure.

The staff was great and very helpful. Rooms extremely clean and breakfast was wonderful. Only concern is it does take a very long time for the shower water to get hot almost 6 minutes every morning.

breakfast was ok, it work for us and our busy schedule on Saturday. Staff was excellent and facilities were very clean. could have had an ice bucket. the location was great for us because we visited the western half of the covered bridge tour. Side note hats off to Ashtabula county the 19 covered bridges, they are in wonderful shape it shows you are proud of them. Our stay at Windgate then made it easy to travel to Trumble, and Mahoning counties to visit other covered bridges

Everything was perfect! Except for the bathroom. The fan wouldn’t suck air out instead it blew very very cold air into it so the bathroom was always FREEZING

My room was prepaid thru hotels.com However, my card that I used to check in with was accidentally charged another $95. I have called the hotel and they said an a refund was issued last Monday. Now it is a week later and I still have no refund and nothing has been offered to remedy the station on my behalf.

Everything was perfect except for the shower. The water wouldn’t stay hot for longer than 5 minutes. And the vent in the ceiling would blow freezing cold air instead of sucking air

The room and property was updated and clean. The breakfast was quite nice and staff were helpful with any questions. I did not care for the heating system as air blew out next to my bed and it turned off and on all night. We tried turning the heat off, but the room got too cold. The shower was not very warm in the morning. I felt the cost to value was poor. They increased the cost significantly because a large swathes m meet was happening nearby. The largest disappointment was when we asked if we could check in early before our grandson’s portion of the meet started. They told us our room was ready, but it would cost $50 to check in early. Hmmm…

The handicap suite we had was a pleasant surprise. It was extremely clean, newly updated and spacious, the bathroom roll- in shower with shower chair, grab bars and an elevated commode was awesome. The best surprise was the bedroom. I could get into bed by myself. I did not need a step stool!! The only negative I have is that the kitchen did not have paper towels or something to wipe off the table/counters. Also, wasn't sure if they wanted us to wash any dishes we used or just to put them in the dishwasher and the hotel would take care of doing them. Thankfully I brought paper plates, plastic disposable silverware, and a roll of paper towels. A larger garbage can for the kitchen would have been nice instead of the small wastepaper can. The staff in the dining room went out of their way to make our dining experience awesome! This was one of the best places we have stayed at. Definitely worth it.
