We arrived early during a torrential rain storm. They let us into the laundry room to do our laundry before we could check in. Very grateful for that. The room was comfortable and I absolutely loved the balcony on Pigeon Creek. It was within walking distance of downtown. Breakfast was very good. Not one complaint!

We stayed a week and enjoyed our stay here very much. The staff was so friendly and always so helpful. The room was very clean and always smelled really good. Enjoyed the balcony and watching the otters and bears in the river.

Not a place to stay if you have small children

We did not have a good experience. The information provided when booking the room was a two-bedroom suite. I was expecting one door to enter the room and then two bedrooms. It was two rooms with conjoining access. In addition, the balcony door would not close, the nightstand was missing a leg so it would fall over if touched, one entry door was not sealed at the bottom so light was coming in with who knows what else, the areas next to the AC units had not been cleaned in a while and had small places next to them for little hands to get into. It was not safe for children and we ended up leaving after one night. I was able to talk to the staff about my concerns and Hotels.com was able to get my remaining stay refunded. I am greatly appreciative of Hotels.com for helping me get the refund. I will never be staying here again. The parking lot is awful trying to get in and out as well. Just an overall bad experience.

Good Stay

The motel was nice. They have balconies over the creek with chairs. The breakfast is very similar to Holiday Inn Express, pretty standard. They advertise a game room but it's just a room with a foosball table only. They have an indoor pool but you have to go outside to get to it. This is right on the edge of Gatlinburg right when you get there from Pigeon Forge so if you are out of shape double the walk time from the motel to the center of Gatlinburg.
