The location was great. You get a breeze off the water. We enjoyed walking on and fishing off the pier. Beaches and restaurants are in close proximity by car. The house was spacious. It has lots of places to sleep and activities to do. Great for family gatherings. It has the normal wear and tear of a beach house rental. Overall I would recommend. We encountered a few hiccups and the rental company was inconsistent about communication. Sometimes responses were quick and other times I was left without further guidance or follow up.

We enjoyed our stay here the views from the deck and sunsets were stunning. We had a couple of problems that were rectified promptly by the property managment. Overall it was a pleasant place to stay.

The property was very nice . Well maintained and as beautiful as listed. Stayed 2 nights And throughly enjoyed ourselves. The views were spectacular and the accommodations spacious and comfortable. The fishing pier was conveniently attached to the property ideal for a bay boating trip

Floors was not very clean, feet was dirty just from walking on them. Carpet felt yuck, dish washer was black with slimy mold on dishes. Feel like cleaners due a surface clean. Furniture is needing replaced getting worn. Didn't enjoy being bothered by Law Enforcement and contractors (d/t code violations) or woke up before 8am cause hammering at pool area .

Pretty property on peaceful water. Had a wonderful time watching the local wildlife, and fishing off the dock. Downside was the fact there was 1 coffee cup in the cupboard, trash left on deck table (empty beer can and full ash tray), trash on patio like straws, paper scraps, bottle lids. We couldn’t find a broom to sweep up things. Living room furniture was used and dumpy. Very uncomfortable. Bedroom carpet needed to be updated. Even though the game room was fun there was only 2 ping pong balls and no Foos Ball ball. Upsides were the house is in a very quiet, peaceful, calm location. A/C was cool and comfortable. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for the 12 of us.

Misleading, Dirty, and Unsafe Our stay at this property was extremely disappointing. The home was filthy — with dirty dishes put away in the cabinets, leftover food on the floor, and cockroaches in the house. It clearly had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. Also, if you’re planning on staying bring your own cleaning supplies because they have none on hand. & your own hand soap since most of the restrooms soap dispensers were empty. Even more disturbing, someone came onto the property and took a photo while we were in the pool, where our young daughters were swimming in their bathing suits. This was a huge invasion of privacy and made us feel completely unsafe. To make matters worse, there was a pool on site that was not marked as restricted or unavailable — it was fully accessible, not gated or locked off. After using it, the host told us it wasn’t an included amenity, which was never stated anywhere in the listing. The communication overall was slow and unhelpful, and we were left to deal with the issues on our own. This experience was a major letdown. Such a beautiful home but I think they could do a much better job at maintaining the home and hiring better cleaners. Especially for the amount of money it cost to book this property. Do not book this property — especially if you’re traveling with kids or expect basic cleanliness, privacy, and honesty about amenities.

Better than as listed

This property was better than expected, mainly because of the pool that was not in the listing so that was a nice surprise! Fishing pier was convenient to fish. Wish there was more lights at the pier for night fighing though. Overall, we had a great time here!

Superb week in Galveston

We absolutely loved this property. Location is great—very quiet neighborhood just minutes from everything you want to do in Galveston. We used the backyard dock every day for fishing. House was spacious and clean. We would stay on this property again!

Family reunion

Overall everything was great and everyone had a great time. However a few minor and one large issue with the house created some unnecessary stress. First and biggest was a pool that appeared to be the progress of being built. There was water from rainstorms no ladder to get out and gate or lock. We were traveling with young kids and purposely wanted a home without a pool. Getting one with no gate or lock was the exact opposite of what we wanted. Less of an issue but the top bunks were not stable and one kid fell through and ended up having to sleep on a bean bag. Minor issues like the house only having 2 coffee cups and no oven mitts caused some last min scrambling but not a big dealOverall we had a great time but the pool issue would stop us from staying here again

Amazing Property

Loved this property. Waking up to the ocean and pier was beautiful! It was on a quiet back road. Isolated from everyone but still close to all of the restaurants and attractions. 10-15 minutes to get to our event. The communication was excellent and the directions were thorough.

Family time

We had a wonderful time at the house, was a great location, very peaceful area. We had plenty of room for everyone, and the fishing was great! We pretty much all caught fish, my only suggestions to the vacationer is be sure to bring seasonings you might use, the only thing supplied is coffee and filters. There were only 2 kitchen towels that I could find and no extra blankets that I could find… and no extra paper towels so might bring extra, I know they don’t have to supply some of this but some places do so just come prepared! The house is beautiful and we all loved it, would definitely stay again and I do recommend this property!!
