We spent 2 days at 320 ranch and it wasn't enough. We had intended to do some riding but I didn't heed the warnings to book early and every ride was booked up. This was September on a Tuesday and Wednesday. This area doesn't really have a down time so book early!
The cabins are great. The beds are comfortable, the bedding was very nice, everyrhing was new and clean.
The cabin is comfortable and quiet.
The highlight was the staff, everyone was happy, pleasant and ready to help.
If you like to fly fish the resort has at least a quarter mile of frontage on the Gallatin river. They also have a stocked pond you can fish. They teach fly fishing on the pond.
Theres a pro shop on site to give you info on whats biting and what flys to use. I think they can set you up with what you need as well.
This is a working ranch and you will see the hands moving 30 or so horses from pasure to pasture. They are all pros and its a pleasure to watch them work, we made it a point to watch them moving horses every morning. 320 is located an hour from West Yellowtone and the park entrance. In the other direction Its about 25 minutes from Big Sky.
They have lots of activities for kids, we will be back with the rest of the family next year.
