Excellent service. I forgot that I left my laptop and pants in the room after I checked out. It was too late to return to pick it up because I had a flight to catch. I contacted the staff and even though her English is limited, she helped me the best she could. We communicated over phone and then email. She is shipping my items to the next hotel. She got me a tracking number. I am so grateful.
Very close to Ichiran and Don Quijote. Close to bus and subway stations. With combi and yatai stalls nearby. Can walk thru a shopping street going to Kushida Shrine and Canal City. Walking distance to Tenjin area. We even left our luggages after check out without any fee. Same with most hotels I’ve stayed in Japan not that spacious rooms.
The rooms were better quality than I anticipated. Unfortunately, when checking in at the desk the man repeatedly (3-4 times) misstated the length of my stay. This was very scary and I believed I had to book another night last minute. All was well in the end, but this incompetency by the staff left a bad impression. Also, if you lose your room key they will charge you 9000 JPY which felt overly hostile and cheap.
by no means a luxury establishment but for the price its tolerable.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
It was fine for a one night stay. It was modern and very clean. But it was the smallest darkest room ever and by morning we felt there was no air. The toilet and shower were like an airplane it was so small but the design was clever
The room was small but nice. I would call it cozy. It had all the expected included items like shampoo and conditioner. The reason this room was so cheap was because it was very compact, but they didn’t skimp on comfort to achieve the cost. I definitely didn’t want to stay in the room for too long since it was so small, but that’s ok since it was located so close to so many things.
It was just a one minute walk to some good restaurants and a three minute walk to the Kawabata shopping arcade where there are tons of great restaurants and shops. If you walked further you could get to the touristy mall called Canal City. If you are ready to take the train or bus for 45 minutes you can get to Dazaifu shrine or the Nanzoin Temple.
This hotel is a great value and was a nice bed to come home to after a long day of being a tourist.
Overall the staff were very nice except one who work on Jan 08 morning shift at 10a.m., I asked her if possible to change my room, since l got room 301 which is very dark, she repeat twice very brunt - できない! without asking why. I don't think it was the right way to client as I was not demand for a room change, I was asking her nicely - if possible or not. Other than her, rest of the staff were very helpful : )
