We had a wonderful time. The cabin felt like home. It had everything we needed and more.The beds were comfortable, if you like to cook like I do they have every usual you could ask for.The hot tub was an AMAZING. We was able to watch the moon rise while relaxing in the hot tub.

Was in a great location. Hot tub was in great. Cabin was spacious had to cut short due to family situation. Mattress could you some updating. Hurt my hips and shoulders. Other than that was very nice.

Just wow! We truly enjoyed the Cabin, the amazing view (especially at sunrise), and the area. The cabin was clean, well appointed with games, movies, kitchen supplies and anything we could need. Loved the fire pit and hot tub. Lots of wildlife viewing, even had a bear make a brief appearance in the yard. The area didn't disappoint either, from a pontoon at Burnsville to the local state parks, we have a wonderful visit.

Overall nice place. Couple things were definitely not up to par. Main complaints would be the tub leaking on the floor, overall cleanliness of the place was not great, and of all things...the roof leaked when it rained. Pretty disappointed about that. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking including spices etc...didnt have dish towels though. Ease of check in and checkout was really easy. Couple of these we could have overlooked probably but there was just too many things...it seems like not a lot of effort is put forth as far as general maintenance goes.

Fantasy family trip

Our family had a small reunion and this cabin was absolutely perfect for our stay. It met our every need and our stay was wonderful!The view is absolutely breathtaking and we even had our own personal fireworks show on the Fourth of July!

What a great Rental

I have been vacationing at Stonewall Jackson Lake for 25 years. This has to be one of the most breathtaking views! The owners are awesome! They took great care in answering questions. It truly felt like home away from home!

Mothers day girls weekend away

This place is exactly what we needed for a girls weekend away. Nice cozy cabin. Excellent fire ring for a campfire. Hot tub set up is very nice. The property is beautiful, and there is a lot of wildlife around. The ponds on the property are really nice, containing lots of fish, frogs, tadpoles, salamanders, and other critters. Overallan excellent place!!.

The most beautiful view!

Gorgeous view of WV mountains! Great hot tub, game and dvd selection! Everything you need in and more in the kitchen! Don’t be alarmed by the natural gas smell. We were unfamiliar with how natural gas smelled when we first arrived, but Dustin was prompt to explain. Wonderful stay if you want to disconnect from the busy-ness of life!
