Wonderful open layout, island, barstools, and fireplace! Comfy sofas and roomy dining table! Very well stocked kitchenware (including barware and cork screw) and bathing amenities! We loved the modern hot tub & extra towels! Fantastic loft with cozy bed nook and sofa beds plus family friendly games! Thanks for the filled deer feeder that provided daily wildlife enjoyment!

The house is well kept and property is beautiful with deer and wildlife. Everything you need to have a great family gathering in the kitchen and bathrooms. Awesome living room space and back patio and hot tub, each room had its own AC unit so everyone could be comfortable in their rooms!!! The only thing that was a bit of a nuisance was the abundance of bugs flying around outside attracted to the outdoor lights… they followed you in no matter how hard you try, they seemed to attract inside to the lights as well.. at least they were not biting bugs, just knats or something. Overall great space to relax away from town enough but close enough to venture out to the wineries and many restaurants

Very nice house on several acres of land. We had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We used the fire pit and the hot tub one evening. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, dishes and spices. The beds were very comfortable as well. And the drive in to town only took us five minutes. If you choose this VRBO rental, I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Great place!

We so loved this home! Nicely decorated and bedrooms all good size! The third bedroom is a loft but has its own bathroom just like the other two! Favorite part was having coffee out back and watching the deer and turkey gather as soon as the feeder went off. It’s located a little out of town but so worth it! Thank you! Hope to stay again!

Beautiful Hill county escape

Beautiful Hill county escape close to downtown and short drive to vineyards. House is beautiful and well stocked. Loved the back deck, jacuzzi, and fire pit (huge hit!). Indoor fireplace made the place so cozy. Hosts very responsive. Free range deer abound. Will definitely repeat visit to property. .

Family memories

We decided to take our granddaughters to see a new parade. We heard Fredericksburg had a great parade and market days. We asked our adult children and their spouses to join us. We all had a wonderful time sitting by the fire watching Christmas movies, and listening to Christmas music. We got to see deer 2x a day in the backyard amazing for our older granddaughter. Just created more family memories that we value and treasure. We look forward to continuing this new tradition with our family. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!!!

Excellent base for Hill Country vacation

We loved our stay. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all the kitchen hardware we needed. I liked that it was on several acres so it had some privacy and it had a small pool behind a dam in the little stream. It had a deer feeder and all of us enjoyed watching the deer come to feed in the morning and evening. The house was only a couple of miles north of Fredericksburg so in a few minutes we could be on the main drag. Great place to stay.
