Discover the gorgeous landscape that surrounds this shepherd’s hut. Stunning views across Loch Eil and the hills beyond. Situated by the west highland line with the Jacobite steam train passing daily.

The Carriage is located on the outskirts of Fort William and commands striking views of Loch Eil and the surrounding mountains. This is the ideal base for a couple looking for a rural retreat. This Shepherds Hut boasts a traditional look and feel with a modern high spec finish on the inside. Climb the wooden steps and you are welcomed into a modern open plan living space. You enter to the kitchen which is fully equipped for self catering. The living space has a sofa and a smart TV for your entertainment. Beyond the comfortable double bed there is a modern and spacious shower room.

Outside you can enjoy the patio area with a drink or some food while you enjoy the stunning Loch and Mountain views. Maybe even get a great shot of the passing Jacobite Express steam train.

Located just outside Fort William you are only a short 10 minute drive from Fort William town centre and all of it’s amenities. Corpach village is only one mile away. The famous Harry Potter Steam Train passes by the front of the property, and the Glenfinnan monument is only 11 miles away. The Carriage is also on route to Mallaig and Morar beach.

Excellent location for exploring Ben Nevis, Nevis Range, fort William, Mallaig and the western isles. Private Parking directly beside Shepard’s hut.

The property was beautiful. The owners were extremely friendly. Was cleanier then a 5 Star Hotel you could feel the care. Bed was very comfortable and had a sound sleep. This tiny home was really thought thru woth heated floors and every appliance of a real home,in luding dish washer and heated towel rack. Truely happy to have booked and will do again given the chance. Extremely happy guest.

Mega netter Aufenthalt!

Die Hosts waren super freundlich und offen. Sowohl Check-In als auch Check-Out haben super geklappt. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet mit Herd, Mikrowelle und einem Air-Fryer. In der Unterkunft hat man außerdem einen super Blick auf die Bahngleise, auf denen der berühmte Jacobite Steam Train entlangfährt für alle Interessierten.
