Family vacation

We had such a wonderful time! The condo was perfect! The corner location was perfect for privacy and also gave a great view of the lazy river and pool area. Definitely returning to this condo!

This is a perfect little condo. While I wouldn't classify it as a 2 bedroom - it's a one bedroom with a bunk room - it was well stocked with all living essentials. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. I was also pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. The pool area plays music and there were lots of people in the hot tubs and yet when we shut the slider doors, we couldn't hear a thing. I would happily stay here again.

Great property. The location was exactly as expected. My husband and I stayed for our 10 year anniversary. Great for couples and for families. Would stay again.

Family Labor Day Weekend Getaway

This is the first time being on the bay side when staying in FWB/Destin. We enjoyed staying at this location. The pools were a big hit with the kids!

Nice location, close to beach

Nice property in a nice location. Views of both the Bay and the Gulf. Floors needed a good scrubbing, but everything else was spotless. Amenities were all very nice. Beach access was really useful

We had a wonderful time staying at Destin West beach/Bayside Resort! The unit was clean, well-stocked, and had everything our family needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved the view of the lazy river—it was beautiful and peaceful. The walk to the beach was short and easy, which made things super convenient with kids.We did have a minor issue with a leaking toilet, but maintenance responded quickly and had it fixed in no time. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this resort to anyone visiting the area!

Excellent Condo

We have stayed at Destin West three times. Sandpiper 401 was the best condo so far. The kitchen had everything that was needed, it was clean, beds were comfortable and the decor was nice. We would stay again.

Beach and Bay Views

We stay at Destin West EVERY summer. I come twice, once with the girls. This one of the nicest condos we’ve stayed in. The beds were comfortable. The extra balcony off of the master suite was quiet and less crowded. My kids love the proximity to the lazy river. Nice updated kitchen and comfortable living room furniture. I would stay here again.

Very nice condo!

Very nice condo. We thought it was nicely decorated, furnished well and clean. Beach is a bit of a hike but pool & lazy river at condo are awesome. Only complete is one of the hot tubs didn’t work and neither were very hot.

awesome place to bring your kids. Pools & lazy river were all clean. BBQ area was clean. However, our condo wasn't cleaned to the best of there potential, especially during COVID

Comfortable, Clean, Good views

S401 is a wonderful condo - the unit was clean, had the essential supplies and more, felt like a comfortable home (esthetically pleasing decor; comfy sofa, chaises on balcony), the primary bed slept well for us ( medium firmness), the kitchen had everything we needed (+one of the few units we've stayed in that had a Keurig & spices). Easy check-in and no issues so we did not need to contact the property mgmt.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Great Room, Location, and Amenities! Room had everything you could possibly need for weeks stay vacation. Only two complaints; #1 the master bedroom mattress needs replacing as it’s extremely stiff and sleeps hot. #2 their is no beach service chairs included with this room when I thought I read the original posting saying they were. Other than those 2 items, we enjoyed our stay at the Sandpiper 401

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a great time. My family enjoyed going to the beach (using the garage amenities), the lazy river, and pool. We found the condo was dirty when moving some of the furniture (coffee table when opening sleeper sofa) and placing items under the bed. I think housekeeping cleans what they can see but doesn't dust or clean under furniture very well.
