Return Stay

We stayed in the complex a couple years ago and enjoyed it so much then we decided to stay here again. It did not disappoint. My wife and I enjoy the complimentary beach chairs and umbrella. I did like the reserved parking this time. Facility is clean and the area isn't too crowded. We will most likely stay again in the future!

Great Space

We have been to this area before and love the family atmosphere of Ft Walton. The condo was beautiful and fit our needs. If I have anything negative to say, it would be the tv setup and how the remote works. However, to me that’s a small issue when you’re at the beach. We had a small issue with the washing machine, but a quick call and someone was there and corrected the issue. We will definitely book this condo again.

The view from the balcony was beautiful and other than hearing people at the pool (and that couldn't be helped) it was so nice. The only suggestion I would make is to remove the towel cabinet in the master bathroom and replace it with a shelf over the toilet for towels.

Comfortable condo for a clean freak

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Must say one of the best as far as cleanliness, furnishings for unit 311 and th entire complex was well kept. I did not have to sanitize anything. We ve been coming several times a yr over last 15 yrs and will be back to this unit again. Compliments to the owner who has the unit tastefully decorated and stocked with good quality linens, towels, and kitchen items. The parking with this unit was a plus. These 2 seniors, our" kids" and our 12 yr old great gson loved every minute there. Elizabeth at Brookes n Shorey has been so helpful during our last several stays in the area. 😊

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were happy with the condo. It could use a good deep cleaning. When we got there at night, the top bunk had not been changed as there was sand all through it. So we had to do laundry upon arriving. Of course the next day, they offered to have the cleaning crew come back, but that is to little to late at that point. The baseboards in the bathrooms need cleaned as there is hair and dirt all over them. Beyond that, the beach is beautiful and because of us traveling at the end of June there were not many people. It was very relaxing and enjoyable!

2nd time there nice remodel

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved our stay each time we have stayed in this unit. Surprised by the lovely remodel since last spring. Very clean, comfortable quiet.. and we will be back. Location is good for easy access to beach and all things Destin or westward. Pelican Isle management needs to get both elevators working for the last 3 times we stayed only 1 worked. This time the one got stuck early in our Vista was repaired and as we left my son in law was stuck in elevator at 5:45 am. 911 brought the fire dept and using stairs we loaded and left.Must say unit is great and if elevators are working we will be back again real soon. Brooks n Shorey is awesome and have taken care of us for several years now.

Condo was dirty

Bathrooms were disgustingly dirty. I has to go buy cleaners and clean condo and bathrooms again myself. Linens were musty and smelly. Dirty towels left in hutch in bathroom. Unit smelled. Reached out to property manager, they got back to me the next day said they would send someone to clean it but by that time I had spent money on cleaning products and had already cleaned myself so we could use bathrooms and kitchen and by able to sleep on the linens.
