Ginori 29 double - One Bedroom Apartment, Sleeps 2

A spacious and stylish apartment in a strategic location, just a few steps from the Basilica of San Lorenzo and the Florence Cathedral. Located on the second floor of a building without an elevator, in a lively and dynamic neighborhood, it offers easy walking access to the city's main attractions. The apartment is arranged over two levels: the lower floor features a large living area with a dining table, sofa, a fully equipped kitchen, and a half bathroom with a toilet and sink. The bedroom is located on the upper level, where you will also find an additional mezzanine, a wardrobe area, and a full bathroom with a shower. It is not recommended for guests with reduced mobility or for children, and is ideal for couples.

Upon arrival, our guests will find a courtesy kit to meet their first needs (toilet paper, soap, shampoo, etc.).
The apartment is located in a restricted traffic zone.
Check-in is by appointment from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. For arrivals after 8:00 PM, a supplement will be applied.
Service limitation:
Air conditioning in Italy is regulated by national laws that set a minimum temperature of 20°C and a maximum of 22°C.
The temperature values ​​allowed in our apartment are 19°C (+ 2°C tolerance) up to a maximum of 21° C. Based on Decree no. 383 of 6/10/2022 of the Ministry of Ecological Transition, for the winter season, the period of switching on the systems for the Municipality of Florence is allowed from 8 November to 7 April, for a maximum of 11 hours per day.
Pay attention to your house keys. In case of loss or non-delivery of the keys, a cost of 50 Euros will be charged for replacing the lock for security reasons.
For urgent interventions caused by the guest outside office hours (from 10pm to 8am) a payment of EUR100 will be required. 

As per italian law n°214/2011 (art. 40.1) the italian police require us to report our guests' identification details. The info that guests are required to provide include a valid ID and resident address.
To ensure maximum comfort for all guests, we recommend using the shower one person at a time. The apartment is equipped with a water heater, so simultaneous use of hot water may temporarily reduce the water temperature. . Lovely place, but could use some items, like towel rack and towel in lower bathroom. More than three forks would be nice, along with ice trays. Large apartment, but need to walk up two flights of stairs. Communication was excellent. Would definitely stay again, location was great.

Pros: Location n spacious apartment. 1 1/2 baths. What's App communication. Well equipped full kitchen Cons: 1 - Key to enter apartment building. It doesn't open unless you jiggle n pull out slightly. Took (10) minutes each time to open. Frustrating as apartment management didn't tell us initially 2 - (3) flights of stairs one especially steep to get to apartment 3 - Only (1) bath towel n (1) hand towel per person for (4) day stay. 4 - (18) steps to bedroom loft 5 - Shower stall very small.

This was a very large, well equipped, charming apartment close to the Duomo, and a modest walk to the train station. There are several flights of stairs from street level but this is pretty much to be expected. There is a spiral staircase in the apartment to the bedroom, which also has a loft. I went to a nice restaurant the first night and cooked the other four days in the well equipped kitchen, shopping at several groceries nearby, one practically outside the front door. There is a dishwasher and a tiny clothes washer in the kitchen and a clothes drying rack stored behind the door. There is a powder room downstairs and a large bathroom with shower upstairs. The windows throughout the apartment provided delicious breezes and the sound of the duomo bells during our third week of September stay. The Owners were very helpful and friendly. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it.

We were very happy with this stay. The host was great with coordinating our arrival. The space was clean and comfortable and we just fell in love with the renovations and original elements. The apartment has all the conveniences we wanted. The location was wonderful. Very central, very convenient to the attractions we wanted to see in Florence and to the train station and tram and so many lovely places to eat and locally run shops near by. Highly recommend!
