We appreciated the home’s unique features, but our stay was unfortunately impacted by multiple issues that affected comfort and convenience. Our stay was disappointing due to several issues. The listing inaccurately described the beds—both “queen” beds were actually “full” size, and one room had two fewer beds than stated (missing an entire bunk bed)—causing discomfort and sleeping disruptions. The most impactful issue was a leaking shower that resulted in the water being turned off for hours, and the shower being unusable for more than a day. We also encountered exposed nails from a broken stair inside the front door, towels that smelled of mold and body odor, and multiple maintenance problems including a broken master bedroom door, broken microwave, and stove and grill igniters that didn’t work.The owner has become completely unresponsive and has made no effort to make good for misrepresenting the features of the property, allowing several key things to fall into disrepair, or for the inconvenience of having to accommodate the plumber during much of our stay.If these issues were addressed, this could be a 4 or 5-star destination. Until then, our rating stands.
