A truly unique experience. This is an over the water house on a secluded island, located only 8 minute boat ride to the main island of Bocas Del Toro. It is only accessible by boat. Mr Brown is our caretaker and has taken care of our guests for over 12 years, he lives in a home on the island and will take you to and from the island as needed. The home has kayaks, paddleboards and snorkel gear. Jump off the deck into crystal clear waters, and enjoy your own piece of paradise.
Located in Big Bight, an island that is an 8 minute boat ride from Bocas Del Toro, in the Las Cabanas port. Only minutes to famous Starfish island.
Jump off the deck into the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean sea, or lay in the hammock and watch the boats go by while you marvel in the silence and beauty that surrounds you. The water here is amazing! It is like living on an aquarium.
At night, enjoy the sky and sea without any light pollution from neighbors. At this property, it is truly just you the sky and the sea.
Mr Brown, the caretaker, will take you to and from the island once per day before sunset free of charge. After sunset, boat taxis are available for hire at the port.
This property is off grid. It utilizes solar energy for power.

What a superb location! We were a family of four and would absolutely love to come back with even more family members next time.Both the kids and adults had an amazing time enjoying the inflatable obstacle course, stand-up paddleboarding, and kayaking. Some of our favorite memories were watching a storm roll in from the swing on the deck, catching fish, and drinking coffee while watching the sunrise.The host thought of so many little details that made our stay more comfortable. There was a basket stocked with bug spray, anti-itch cream, and sunscreen, which was incredibly thoughtful. Coffee and drinking water were also provided, and we really appreciated that.One helpful tip for future guests: keep the lights off for about an hour after sunset. We followed that advice and had virtually no issues with bugs at night.The host was very responsive throughout our stay. The local family helping manage the property spoke very little English, and we spoke very little Spanish, but with the help of a translator app and plenty of hand gestures, we had a lot of fun communicating.We highly recommend this property and will definitely choose it again when we return with more family members. A wonderful experience from start to finish!
