Our room was a no-frills room very basic however, the bed was really comfortable and the bathroom, large with great water pressure. The room was clean as was the bathroom and if we’re driving through Eureka, we’d definitely stay there again

Hardware store not a Hotel

I thought I was staying in the hotel when I booked. Apparently, they remodeled the old Hardware store adjacent to the main building and put a few rooms in it. This is where my room was. The room was very small but clean. However, there is a communal kitchen, which seems like a good amenity until around midnight when the drunks come back from the local bar and decide to cook pizza, etc. and raise hell. I'll book again, but I will make sure I'm in the main building next time.

Comfortable stay

It's a good hotel; walkable to some restaurants in town. Front-desk service people were friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that I woke up to a strange sulfur smell in the middle of the night, which I thought might be natural gas. Went to the front desk, but we couldn't figure out what it was, and apparently, they don't use natural gas to heat the rooms. It's a mystery! Some other guests were a bit noisy early on, but they did quiet down as the night progressed. They put me in a different room for the rest of the night, and no issues in that room.

arrived around 5:30pm had to park on the street, since their lot was full! Sidewalk had ice on it! Also the parking lot and alley had Ice Build -Up making it very dangerous to walk across the alley where you could also park the car to the hotel! Very slippery! They should’ve had somebody clean off that ice several times during the evening that did not happen! Someone will end up falling, slipping on the ice! Injuring their back, head or hip! There was a snow plow in their parking lot, with that said here was no excuse not to have the ice cleaned up.

Eceeded Expectation

Great stay for a lttle town. The room was spacious and clean. The shower had great pressure and plenty of water. The bed was comfy and warm. Even though our room was on the main street side, it was pretty quiet. Go up the street about half a block and you'll find a cute coffee shop with fun coffee drinks and taste tea lattes.
