The hotel experience was wonderful. Very clean, great pool, nice rooms, wonderful staff. The free breakfast was good. You are right at the gateway to the redwoods and Trees of Mystery. The problem is more the infrastructure around the area. The casino next door is just slot machines. The casino restaurant was short staffed, and limited options, we ended up driving into Crescent City for dinner, which made us think maybe it would be better to just find a hotel in Crescent City. This area could really use at least one good quality sit down restaurant.

Room was clean, comfortable. Kids enjoyed the pool. Restaurant on site very convenient. Nice quiet town at the end of a long day. Staff was great, especially Rose at check in desk!
