Un retiro tranquilo y pintoresco en el pueblo de Empire, rodeado por el Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Park. It was close to the Empire beach and Sleeping Bear sites. The home was clean and had a well-equipped kitchen. The weather was cool so we enjoyed the fireplace. Very family friendly. Check in and out was great. Empire is a nice town. We would definitely come back to this location. One minor thing that could be improved — towels. Kitchen could use more and bath towels are getting worn.

The house was perfect for my family of six. It was clean, cozy, comfortable, and a central location to visit multiple beaches, towns, and hikes. We enjoyed kayaking and splurged at Blu (Glen Arbor), as we spent our 25th wedding that week. We all enjoyed our vacation.

Property was very clean, which is my number one concern. My only complaint is the quality of towels and linens. The towels are getting shabby and the bedsheets are poor quality/cheap fabrics. But it is a very nice home with a quiet but very convenient location.

Wonderful experience

Our family had a wonderful stay at The Salisbury House! It was clean, had everything we needed and was exactly as advertised. This has not always been the case with some of our prior rentals, so we very much appreciated it this time. I would highly recommend the property to everyone looking to stay in the area and would not hesitate to stay again.

Nice location, in walking distance to beach for sunsets, close driving to many other fun experiences in area. Big master bathroom but shower stall small. Good kitchen size with all utensils/appliances/cookware needed.

Empire MI - Salisbury House

The town of Empire was centrally located for the activities we did. The house was spacious, clean, modern, very comfortable and homey. The kitchen was well stocked making cooking in easy since there were few restaurants nearby. The two car garage allowed great space for keeping all our outdoor toys safe. Would rent again

Great stay in Empire

All aspects of the trip were excellent. From reserving and planning, arrival/check in, to the convenience of location and check out. We couldn't have been happier. The houses amenities more than satisfied our needs, the location couldn't have been easier with the short walk to the beach and a playground next door. Check in and check out was smooth and instructions clear. It definitely made our vacation stress free and consider the same place next year.

Family Vacation

Centralized location and walking distance to local shops and the beach. The house was beautiful, clean and came with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Spacious back deck and yard for our kids to play. There is also a park right across the street. Plenty of space for our family of 5. We will be returning! Also, the management of the house was friendly, easy to reach and great to work with!

Beautiful, relaxing, convenient

Our family spent a wonderful 6 days at the Empire house. There were 5 adults from age 73 to age 22 and we were all very comfortable. The house is extremely clean and very well equipped, the beds were great, linens nice, kitchen good, plus it’s walking distance to 2 beaches and to the lovely village of Empire. It’s a short drive to Sleeping Bear National Park with more beaches, bike paths, hiking, and history. Glen Arbor is convenient. We’ll be back!
