The house was great! We had a great time and loved being within walking distance from everything. We will definitely be using this place again! There were snacks and water and loved that there was a dog cage to use if we had brought our dog, definitely something to consider for the next time we come.

We love the Eminence area and this is a great location. We were able to paddle, hike, and explore. The water is hot, air conditioning is cold, and it was a great homebase for us. We love having laundry and a full kitchen. Beds were a bit stiff but we were tired from our adventures, so it all worked out. The outdoor deck area is a great addition and being so close to the Dairy Shack is wonderful. We would definitely stay again!

The house is very clean. The ac works AMAZING. We came down to celebrate my husband’s birthday along with 3 of our other friends. We all had plenty of room. We enjoyed the back deck a lot in the evenings. Within walking distance to the Dairy Shack. The beds were firm but I’ve slept on worse. The host is very responsive and answers quickly. We will definitely rent this again when we come back down.

Had a great time. Place was clean, safe and owners showed awesome hospitality. Communication was great and it was perfect location next to our favorite restaurant, the Dairy Shack. Will definitely stay again next time. Hopefully next year!

Perfect Place

This was a comfy-cozy, charming home! It was perfect for us! We loved everything about it. They had snacks, extra beach towels to use, nice beds, everything was clean, the deck was amazing, and the kitchen was well appointed. The owners were so nice and welcoming. The gas station and restaurants were right down the hill within walking distance, which was so convenient! This is the place to go. We will definitely be back every time.

Eminence June 2025

This property was great and centrally located in Eminence! We walked down to the middle of town and down to the river. The location gave easy access to multiple river points just a short drive away. When arriving we felt very at home and very nostalgic with the decor that had been in place, we felt very at home and it reminded us of our childhood days. We love enjoying this small town and spent much of our time on it near the river.

Perfect location

This property is in a great location and easy to find! The home was very clean and the AC IS AMAZING! We were walking distance from a small grocery store,antique shop,gas stations and Wendy’s for river float! Darrin was great and very easy to contact. We will definitely use this place again! I’m not quite young enough for the camping thing even cabins lol. We were able to enjoy our stay away from home and still enjoy the finer things in life full kitchen,bathroom,washer and dryer. There was a to. Of items supplied that typically are forgotten or run out of. Our favorite parts were the deck on the back of the house that has two picnic tables to hang out at after a long day of floating and hiking and there is also a charcoal grill we could have used but we didn’t want to be the first ones to break it in haha. Thank you so very much for letting us stay at your home!

Perfect place for a pretty big family looking for a good weekend on the river with very close access to river,shops, restaurants and more. Simply loved it and had a very great experience best place we’ve stayed in eminence by far and we’ve been coming the last 7 years. Thank you for the hospitality!

Perfect house for river exploring

We ( family of 3 & one extra preteen) had an amazing time at this property . We stayed 2 nights and 3 days. Location is amazing if you're going out and exploring. We did a float from alley springs to eminence (water was a bit high so that was the float available) we used Windy's outfitters ( less then a block away) . We explored Ally springs and Rocky Falls. The communication with host leading up to check in was excellent. Getting into the property was no hassle at all. Arriving at property and first impressions were good from everyone in our party. House was clean and the preteen girls really enjoyed the snacks! ( We picked this property because it suited all our needs and was also pet friendly. But unfortunately our old man dog stayed with Grandma and didn't attend with us but I'm sure he would have approved as well! ) the home had everything we could have needed. The dairy shack was awesome to have in the back yard. After a day exploring the nature areas it was so convenient to have such yummy food so close. And of course ice cream as well ! We will definitely try and book this property the next time we come to Eminence! 5

Great time. Clean place. Easy access to town and river. Penty of amenities (cooking utensils, bathroom supplies, games and movies) Beds were comfortable and plenty of linens. Quiet inside from outdoor noise.
