Hotel was good, service at front desk a bit cold. Strangest thing, the entrance light to the room was impossible to turn off without removing the key from main switch. Staff said they never saw that and hotel was sold out. No real recovery

Not the best experience

This hotel is at a great location, it’s really nice to be so close to the sea with many restaurant options, however we were quite disappointed about the hotel itself. We’ve experienced very limited customer focus, the breakfast was not only of poor quality with limited choices, the restaurant has no solution to not create a bottle neck at the coffee machine with a 5-10 mins waiting time, and we were instructred at the check-in to pick a time to have breakfast. Not only can you not simply go have breakfast when you are hungry, we were told that the only available slots were before 8 or after 10 AM. The sauna was available also only between 4 and 10 PM and only per reservation. The hotel rooms are OK, even though pretty much everything is plastic in there.

Great hotel for dogs and beach access

Great hotel if travelling with a dog. Good location for the beach and town of Egmond. Hotel recently renovated with a nice restaurant/bar and sauna. Advertised facilities of a pool and gym are at another hotel and cost money.

We stayed in one of the 'dog friendly' rooms at the rear of the hotel. Newly decorated, very clean with a convenient separate entrance. Great location and pleasant staff.

Wir haben aufgrund eines Wasserschadens ein Apartment angeboten bekommen. Das Apartment lag dann nicht wie das Hotel direkt am Strand sondern in etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Die Treppe zu dem Schlafzimmer war sehr steil und für beeinträchtigte Menschen unzumutbar. Darauf wurde nicht hingewiesen, bei dem Angebot. Im Apartment selber gab es dann weder Seife noch Duschgel oder Shampoo. Dafür mussten wir erneut zum Hotel laufen. Auch das inkludierte Frühstück wurde wie ein Extra angeboten und auch die Benutzung der Sauna wurde als Zusatz angeboten, obwohl es bei einem wie geplanten Hotelaufenthalt selbstverständlich wäre. Leider können wir das Hotel so nicht weiterempfehlen. Eine 2. Nacht, welche Gratis gewesen wäre , haben wir aufgrund der Tatsachen oben geschilderten Gründe nicht angenommen.
