We have stayed at Summerhaven many times. It is a very good choice! Easy to reach many popular places on Lake Martin and a rare shallow sandy beach for kids to play. Highly recommend and owners are very nice people!

Wonderful property that gives the feeling of privacy without having to be too far away from town

Loved this place! We were looking for something that was somewhat secluded without having to drive too long to get to some stores and this place was perfect. The size and shape of the property keeps you from feeling like you are packed right on top of the neighbors. Loved having all the trees and shade, as well as the little private mini-beach to enjoy the water. We even spotted a bald eagle ha had landed in the tree right next to the dock! Everything was very accessible - my elderly father has a little trouble getting around these days, so we were glad to have very few stairs to enter/exit the house. The path to the dock was a little difficult for him, but the screened in porch was awesome - I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was also screened in from underneath, so we were able to enjoy the sights and sounds of the lake while being protected from the rain and bugs. Bill was very quick to respond to any questions before and during our stay and the house had everything we expected based on the description and info from the host. Absolutely would stay here again!

Love Summer Haven

This is our third year staying at Summer Haven. It is quiet & comfortable for two couples. The porch is great to watch the sunset and play games. We take our boat, launch close by & tie up to the dock. There is a great beach where we can float & we have taken our paddleboards & kayaks. Bill is a great host who responds quickly to any questions. Looking forward to staying again next fall.

Dependable Excellence

Just completed our third consecutive stay at Summer Haven and for the third consecutive time it was an extraordinarily wonderful experience. Everything works! AC cools, lights light,ice maker makes ice, drains drain, etc. Everything is clean and tidy. Private beach access to the lake is fantastic. Owner and property manager responsive and helpful. A “must stay “.

Can’t wait to go back!!

Our stay was just like the last time beautiful water and beach. Great out door decks and swings. The view is beautiful and a lot of windows to look out. Clean and so nice inside. Great kitchen. Dining area, living room lots of places to sit great tv. Bed rooms are very nice. This is our happy place. Look forward to our next trip❤️❤️

Fall Family Weekend

The views were AMAZING! The weather was disappointing, but the cabin was a cozy place to look out over the water, even through the damp conditions. We were in town for a family wedding at a nearby venue. The cabin was clean and well-appointed. The kitchen had good cookware and plenty of dishes and flatware for all. Living area was spacious and comfortable.

Best on Lake Martin

This is our second consecutive stay at Summer Haven. We have stayed all over the lake for over 14 years and this is far away the very best! Everything clean, everything works. Great location, great facility, great owner and management staff. Only improvement to be made? Four-slot toaster. It doesn’t get better than this.

Perfect lake house

The property is very roomy and comfortable. The large screened in porch and outside recreation areas are top notch. Nice little sandy beach makes swimming easy. Nicely decorated but still has that at-home feel.

Graduation weekend

Summer Haven was amazing!! The house, the beach, the dock and the yard were all perfect for our group’s activities and none of us wanted to leave!! We brought our own boat and thoroughly enjoyed the lake as well . Wonderful experience all around and we would definitely go back !

Amazing!!!

This was the BEST vacation ever. Great communication by the owners and property manager. This lake house was absolutely amazing. It was clean, spacious, beautiful and incredibly peaceful. We had two adults and three 18 year old girls and it was more than enough room. The girls loved it and want to come back! The decks were wonderful and the boat deck was so incredibly peaceful. It has such a “home” feeling. I can’t say enough about this lake house, truly! We will be back, hopefully this summer!!

So relaxing!

The property was wonderful! I think my favorite part was walking into the living room/kitchen every morning and seeing the room all light up from the sun and being surrounded by the water. The swing on the dock was a perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine while watching the sun set. We loaded up on pre-made food and basics at Catherine’s Market and had numerous meals on the screened in porch. Most of our time was spent hanging out in the beautiful lake.

Loved our Stay

We loved our stay in this great property at Lake Martin. It’s in a great location. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch, the dock & the sandy beach for swimming. The house is very nice & comfortable for dining, watching football & playing games.
