We have stayed at this property several times. It is a rustic, cabin-like setting, so the rooms are not high-end. This particular room had some odd layout quirks, but it was comfortable enough. The jets on the tub no longer work, so suggest the tub/shower needs replacing. We shared the room with a few spiders but they didn't eat much and obliged when we showed them the door.
The place looks like something right out of a fairy tale! I can't wait to see it in the winter. The room was excellent although a little tight on floor space. The kitchenette was an outstanding touch. The beds were very comfortable. I really appreciated light above the tub/shower enclosure. The parking was right in front of the room.
This is the second time we've stayed here.
We've already booked our next stay in November, at the Chanticleer Inn.
Very clean!! Excellent and friendly staff from the time we checked in to the team who waited on us for dinner. Beautiful rustic bar and restaurant!! The food was delicious with huge portions!! We’ll be back!
Property was very clean. Room was nice and parking was close to unload luggage. I love staying here. Its always my go to place when we are in Eagle River.
This property was very nice. It was clean and equipped with everything we needed for our overnight stay. The view from our room was beautiful. The gal in the office who helped us was very friendly and sweet.

Very clean cozy hotel room. A little outdated but beautiful right on the water.
The ladies at the property are awesome. The chef came in special. Delicious food. Great service!!!! This has that feel of older resort family vacations. Like in the good old days. Summer or winter depending on what your looking for
Rooms could be cleaner
The frontdesk personnel were a bit preoccupied. We felt like some personal issue happened before we arrived. The room and bath are small but comfortable. I was surprised that there were no usb plugs in the room. We decided to go to the Heidout at the end of the street for dinner and back to the hotel bar for a nightcap. The drinks were good and reasonable but again, just didn’t feel welcomed.
Minutes from downtown Eagle River where we spent most of our time. Great location and resort. Downside was property owners kept outside lights on front and back of unit and window blinds didn’t keep lights out of room at night for sleeping purposes. Otherwise very nice unit.
