The good: The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The questionable: My first impression was that of skepticism. The motel is very dated, the carpet worn and frazzled. The walk to our second floor room felt a bit dark and oppressive (old dated, worn carpet) and I was prepared to ask for a refund and find another motel. However, once I entered the room, I found it to be fresh and clean, which validated the positive reviews of other patrons. Ok, so it is a little worn, but it was clean. The beds were very comfortable. For the price and the good night's sleep, I would stay here again.

Everything was winderful, the staff was friendly made sure we were very well taken care of . She got us everything we needed, even brought it to our room. The breakfast was yummy , and fresh! Hotel was very very clean. Will for sure stay there again!

The room’s smoke alarm went off while I was in the shower. I jumped out with a soapy wet head to find the room reeking of smoke which seemed to be coming from the heat/air. The front desk person claimed this had never happened before. And said he’d move me to another room. He also claimed it wasn’t coming from the heater, that I must’ve caused it with the microwave or coffee pot; although it was neither of these things. They refused to give a refund. Told orbitz in the middle of the night that I caused the smoke from the microwave, which I never used. Today, their contact person told Orbitz that it was common for their heater to smoke when initially turned on, and it sometimes caused the alarm to go off. I have the screen shot from that conversation. That should not be an issue. I ended up checking into another hotel at 1:30 AM drenched with a soapy head, and paid again for another hotel. They refused to refund my stay saying “it was nonrefundable;” even though safety was a concern of mine after they refused to fully check the unit and wall, not to mention they blamed me for something that was obviously their fault.

The place is old and dirty, we asked not to have the entire room cleaned but asked to have fresh towels and trash emptied daily and apparently that was asking too much. one day they came and emptied one trash but not the bathroom one even though they went in there to wipe down the floor but not give us toilet paper or towels either.
