Location location. All amenities including Kleenex, kitchen stuff, etc. Very comfortable king bed, great pillows, great TV and awesome shower (pressure and hot water). Be sure to punch door code in VERY slowly. Loved the train whistle, kind of nostalgic.

We were pleased with the location of the Jarvis building apartment in Durango, Colo. It was reasonably comfortable but the sofa bed was too stiff for true rekaxing. There were nomother side chsirs bsides the sofamade for a convenient walk to all things in the historic center of town: shops, restaurants, the train etc. The kitchen was one of the more fully stocked ones we have encountered in our travels in terms of the array of kitchen dishes and cookware provided. One thing lacking was a chest of drawers for things that were not suited for be hung in the closet. Unfortunately, the stacking cubes in the closet that might have served this purpose were otherwise filled with extra blankets snd pillows. The security system worked perfectly. We did not use the common patio enclosure. There was bsr noise frm across the street on the weekend as some have noted. The TV instructions re usi g the csble system were not good. The wifi also had to be refreshed which seemed took overnugh

Fall Getaway

My husband and I stayed here for a few days to enjoy the beautiful changing of the leaves as well as take in a few mountain excursions. Wonderful rental! Perfect location if you want to be in the center of The Durango nightlife. Highly recommend. We would definitely stay here again.

Location, location, location...

My wife and I just spent 3 nights in this charming and recently renovated condo, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's location right down town made it easy to walk to shops and restaurants, and was very convenient to both Highways 160 and 550 for out of town excursions. The condo is well appointed, although we would have liked to have a luggage racks to put our suitcases on. Several other reviews mentioned the noise coming from the bar next door, but we didn't have any problems with it...however we were there on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights. Our only issue overall was that the instructions to get in the unit were poorly written and as a result, we had to call management to have them help us. The phone connection was horrible, so hearing (and understanding) the agent made for a frustrating check in experience. My wife and I agreed that we would definitely stay in this delightful condo the next time we are in scenic Durango!

Relaxing location

The only problem we had was with people above us. I contacted vacasa chat asking if they had the ability to reach out to bldg owner to ask renter/tenant to please stop stomping truly from sun up to late late evening. I was told they could not and I needed to talk to them myself. We chose to tuff it out except the last night it went on all night long. Sounded like remodeling or something, loud bangs thumps and heavy foot steps all night. This was only down side. Other than that the apt was clean, quaint,and close to historic dist. Walk to great food, drinks and shopping.

Communication for check in could have been much better

Condo was fine. Sink in bathroom did not drain properly - very slow all 3 days we were there. Biggest issue was check in. Location of the property and how to get into the room was explained well and the 10 digit code to open the unit door was accurate. What was not mentioned AT ALL was that when you first entered the building, you could walk through a set of doors, but you needed a fob to get into the actual building. Nothing was explained that there are lock boxes on the framed area of the first set of doors (to your back when you enter) and you needed the letter of the lock box and a 4 digit code to open it to obtain the fob to enter the building and keys to open the dead bolt to your room. This was about 5:30 on a Friday night and fortunately someone answered the 800 number we were provided. The anxiety that went along with improper/incomplete instructions certainly could have been avoided. Also, if you stay on a weekend, know that the bar across the street doesn't close until 2 am and music is blaring right up to closing!

We stayed here to celebrate my wife’s Birthday. We had some rainy days and some lazy days. So after walking Main Street and visiting Mesa Verde, we were perfectly happy and content with a quiet night in, eating pizza from a nearby restaurant and sampling various local brewery and distillery offerings. This place is perfectly located for downtown Durango if bar hoping and window shopping is how you like to spend the day. The room is very nice and comfortable so we were also happy spending a quiet night in as well.

Durango rest

Place was incredibly well appointed, clean and updated. Location incredible. But if a good nights sleep is high on your list, you might reconsider. The cacophony from the street and the bar just across, was a regular disturbance. Nevertheless, I would recommend this place and I’d stay there again.
