Bring thick socks!

I stayed at the cottage with my elderly parents and 10 year old son. The house was lovely, clean and fully equipped with cookware, dishes and even a washer and dryer which came in handy as two of our suitcases had been delayed. We visited in the winter (late July) and it was cold! We made a fire in the fireplace which was lovely but it was hard to warm up the house, even with the wall heaters. I kept wishing I had brought my slippers as the stone floors froze my feet. But a fully recommended accommodation!
