Room was in need of a refurb and no soundproofing. Very noisy on second night ++ Staff were absolutely lovely though which really made up for it. Breakfast was great.

We liked the convenient position (close to a wedding we were attending in Driffield), there was a convenience store next door and the surrounding area is beautiful - nice green and nice properties. The property felt safe and was quiet for sleeping, the bed was comfortable. There was plenty of car parking space. The staff were pleasant. On the downside the room was small and dated, the shower lacked a separate temperature control and nearly scalded my husband - there was no warning sign telling you to be careful of the hot water, this was also the same for the wash basin. It would also have been nice to have had more than one teabag each. We would stay again but would ask in advance if the water temperature problem was fixed, this must be noticed by the cleaning staff.

Great customer service

Made welcome from start to finish genuinely cared about there customer. Evening meal was excellent again with good service. Room was comfortable and clean. Would definitely go back next time im in the area

Great hospitality from the team at The White Horse. Unfortunately the window latch in my room was stuck which meant the window couldn’t be opened but the staff went out of their way to resolve the situation and provided me with a fan which was a life-saver.

We booked 6 rooms for a wedding I spoke in the phone to say we were attending a wedding and could at least 1 room be ready to enable us to get changed, they said they would try their best When we arrived I asked if a room was ready so we could get changed n get the children changed, we were setting off 30 minutes later We were asked if we had reserved it for £20, we hadn’t so was told the room probably isn’t ready as other guest check out at 11, it was 12.15 The member of staff rang the owner to ask if we were allowed in a room n he said yes for £20 We paid the £20 for the 30 minutes and the room was suddenly ready After booking 6 rooms I thought this was very mean spirited
