Secluded beautiful chalet in the Dolomites

It was a beautiful & secluded stay on the eastern side of the Dolomites. We loved the property view and watching the cows with their bells. Delicious breakfast was included and lawn chairs on the property to enjoy the views. Great location to access Tre Cime Lavaredo hike, and the nearby towns of Dobbiaco and Cortina!

The property was a little run down. The molding was broken in our room and there was no top sheets on the bed. Some of the staff were very helpful, while others clearly did not like tourists. It was located in a beautiful setting. The WiFi did not work and the breakfast wasn’t that great compared to other hotels we stayed at on this trip. Not a great value for the price we paid.

Nice Place to take a break.

We were just staying overnight and then returning 3 days later. The staff graciously kept our luggage stored during that break. The breakfast that was included with our room was good and filling.

Not sure how to describe this place. It’s isolated (not necessarily a bad thing) but pretty run down. It looks like a summer camp place, the rooms are super basic and dated. The mattress was truly uncomfortable and the pillow so hard.

The property staff is extremely friendly. My friend left cash in her room after checkout and retrieved it 4 hours later from front staff! They also offered us free breakfast buffet, even Expedia did not offer it to us. Highly recommended! Oh, cow bells all day are lovely.

Triple room option available Size of the room and bathroom is bigger than average Disliked: Beds are not comfortable Breakfast starts very late and is inconvenient if you need to leave the hotel earlier for your activities WiFi is limited Overpriced Night was cold and heating was not on. Conclusion: sorry, wouldn’t stay here again.

Pros: Property condition and location, views are excellent, nice included breakfast, dinner at hotel restaurant had reasonable prices Cons: Wi-fi did not work during stay (hotel has not updated to fiber optic cables). We luckily only stayed for 3 nights, hence, no wifi was not a big issue. Another negative is that restaurant is under-staffed and over-worked, including an elderly gentleman. Ownership should increase their budget to get more seasonal staff.

The hotel was clean and modern, perhaps a little austere, with some of the hottest water we have ever had. It looked like three pedestrian bridges over a little stream from the property to the bus stop were all out.

Good location and lots of space

Great amount of space for a family of two adults and two teenagers. It was a good central location to get to many nice places in the Dolomites. Only complaint was the terrible WiFi service.
