Sala Quy Nhon Beach Hotel
4/5 Good
"Overall had a positive experience, mainly due to the location and the staff.
The hotel is in a great spot, and the staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. Whether that’s natural hospitality or part of their training, it genuinely made a difference and added warmth to the experience. I also appreciated the small touches - fruit was given on arrival, and again before departure along with a handwritten note, which felt thoughtful and personal.
The sky bar is a nice feature with a good atmosphere, although it can get quite windy in the afternoon — more due to weather conditions than anything the hotel controls. The pool bar was also a highlight, with friendly staff and a relaxed vibe. Elevators were fast and efficient, which is always a plus.
That said, there were a few areas that could be improved.
Room-wise, there were some design and maintenance issues. The bath and shower setup in the junior suite is impractical — you have to climb into the bath just to turn the water on, which feels poorly thought out. In addition, the bath plug wasn’t working during my stay. However, once I mentioned it, the hotel fixed it immediately, which I appreciated.
I requested a king bed upon arrival after seeing two twin beds in the room. Reception agreed to have it changed while I was out, but when I returned a few hours later it still hadn’t been done, which was disappointing.
