Our trip to Destin was good. The condo looked like the listing. The beds were comfortable with good sheets and pillows. The kitchen is decently stocked with essentials for cooking basic meals along with some nicer appliances like an air fryer, crock pot and keurig. The pool was great, we enjoyed a lot of our time swimming and the balcony faces the pool, which is a pretty view. The condo also had a lot of beach items stored in a closet, which was nice. There were sand toys, floats, and even a wagon. The resort is centrally located near lots of restaurants and very close to Walmart.Cons-If you struggle to walk long distances, the parking garage is a far away from the condo. There is no parking near the building. You can park up front to check in and out to load and unload your things, but everyone had to wait until 4 pm to check in so there were a TON of people checking in. This was quite chaotic, especially when you are unsure of the layout of the resort. There also weren’t any carts available to transport our luggage due to all of the people checking in at one time. Also, be sure to pull your door shut tight, the door doesn’t latch unless you pull it tight. The nearest beach access is quite close, but it is packed and tiny. The better beach access, Henderson Beach, was a mile away, we opted to drive everyday since we had small kids. There was plenty of room at this access but you do have to pay 6 to get in daily. We enjoyed this beach!Overall, we had a great vacation!
