Front door broken. Poor signage thru rear door access. Decking in walkway, difficult to see at night. Trip hazard Lift broken. Numerous stairs to negotiate, both up and down to room. No disabled access. Difficult to operate door lock. Closes and dead bolt engages. Awkward to exit in an emergency or fire. Toilet door on bedroom side filthy dirty in need of a clean. No regular coffee, only decaff. No white sugar, only brown. Light above bed does not work. Taps in bathroom old and worn. Difficult to operate. Shower riser located in a ridiculous position, would suit a person 8 ft tall. Tried to order breakfast the previous evening, was told to order it next day. Tried to order it at Breakfast time, was told there'd be a 20 min delay as it hadn't been pre ordered. Orange squash, no orange juice. No butter, no alternative offered. Supplier blamed. Obvs too difficult to get some from local supermarket.

Have stopped here before, the lift was out of order last time and is still out of order. The front door was broken meaning to get in a walk round the back and through a car park to get in via a back door. Hopefully thos will be repaired quicker than the lift. Once in and the climb up the staircases this is a nice old building and is fitted out niceley. It is nice an close to the railway station and buses run from outside to the bus and coach station, as well as East Midlands Airport, Loughborough and Leicester (24 hour service) Good value for money.

Located opposite the railway station. The front door wasn’t working meaning a trek all the way around the back of the hotel to gain entry or to exit. Check in was slow even an hour after it started with only one member of staff on reception. The room was clean and comfortable but I had difficulty opening the window for fresh air as the handle was broken. The bathroom was acceptable although the bath had chips in the base and the tiles could do with a good clean to remove mould. Overall for one night and the cost it was OK.

Massive queue to check in at the allotted time, came earlier but was told not allowed to check in early! One person only on check in even though they apparently knew they would be busy, some guests room still were not ready and had to wait even longer. Front door broken and not working so had to walk through a dark unlit car park around the back to access the hotel. Lift broken and not working, we had to climb three floors with cases and no offer of help. Very poor standard overall. Black mould around the bath and bottom of shower curtain brown instead of cream coloured. Stain on quilt cover. Would not return or recommend anyone to stay here.

The room looked clean however the bathroom was extremely dated and in need of upgrading…it looked as if it was installed during the 89’s/90’s and matched the polystyrene ceiling tiles. The room also had a bad odour of someone having been smoking…hence why the window was left open we assume?!
