Enter the property through large glazed doors into a spacious open plan kitchen/dining area with a huge granite island to gather around. The décor has been expertly designed to think of every little thing you may need. With a large open plan living area featuring a wood burner looking out from bi-fold doors to an outside entertaining area. The master bedroom also has access to a balcony to enjoy the woodland views and a contemporary en-suite with separate free standing bath and large shower unit. Both of the other two bedrooms boast en-suite facilities.

Beautiful House

When we arrived it was bitterly cold so the owner put on the wood burner which heated the place up until the heating came on.Very clean and everything you need.Very peaceful surroundings the view from the bedroom was amazing.The only problem was the internet is slow but that can’t be helped.Will come back if in that area again

Good location visiting my son, who is at Loughborough University, for his birthday. V comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms/showers and lovely communal space downstairs including large dining table and bar area. We didn’t think the photos did the property justice. We will definitely stay again.

Very nice and cozy lodge

Very nice and big lodge. Perfect for a family visit. Surroundings are very nice, too, with lots of beautiful sightseeing targets. The big stylish kitchen and the fire place are the best parts of the lodge. Maybe also the king size bed that seems to have a royal history and the terrace with fountain in summer. Little room for improvement might be to add a drying area/rack and to have some daily needs already available (i.e. firewood, dish washer tabs, hand wash etc.). But we managed and even got a very good bottle of wine as a welcome present. Overall we have received what we have expected and felt really well in the lodge.
