Property is well maintained and was very clean. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds and other furniture are comfortable. Communication from property manager was excellent, with access information being provided well in advance.Highlight is the view from the deck, with whales continuously feeding right offshore. We were there Labor Day weekend. We shared this condo with one other couple, and it was an ideal choice for us.

Beautiful home and great week overall ! The extra warm summer weather made the condo uncomfortable at times, so we had to request fans. They were delivered promptly. PLEASE NOTE - the VRBO description indicates that the condo has air conditioning, but that is false. The condo does not have air conditioning, and that description should be corrected.

Check in was very easy. They supplied the code and I just walked in. Everything was exactly as expected from the information provided. The whales provided endless entertainment from the balcony and I had everything I needed and more in the condo. It was a lovely trip exploring the coast of Oregon, and this central location allowed for a wide variety of daily itineraries. The communication was great and I appreciated their responsiveness!

We saw whales!

The balcony was a great space to watch for whales! We saw them 2 out of 3 days of our stay! We had everything we needed. Hosts were very good at communication answering questions we had. Would stay again..and would recommend to others. Thank you!

Graduation Trip

Our son graduated from high school and instead of an open house, he asked for a trip. We had never been to the west coast and after doing some research landed here, in Depoe Bay!! To say we were awestruck by the Pacific is an understatement!! This condo was fantastic for the views!! Wow!! Whales every day was the bonus!! The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed!! The only problem we had was the toilet in the master bath that needs to be fixed or updated. Thank you so much for letting us spend time in your terrific place!! We would love to make it back out the the PNW again someday!!

We enjoyed the condo, it shows some signs of use, but was comfortable and the view was great! Master toilet was tricky, clothes washer smelled musty, stains in carpets, but overall, it was nice! We enjoyed our visit very much!

Gorgeous ocean view

This is a perfect whales and seal watching spot. The condo was clean and spacious and the staff responded immediately to our questions and requests. The bed was very soft but others might prefer that. It’s also a longer walk into town than we prefer. But overall a great stay!

Absolutely amazing

This home was absolutely stunning. Such a well decorated, warm and cozy place. From watching the waves crash upon the rocks to watching the whales spout just outside the windows. I would highly recommend this home to anyone. I will definitely try to stay here again.

We had an amazing time during our stay. The condo had everything that we needed. The kitchen is well stocked. The furniture and beds are comfortable. We absolutely loved watching the whales from the balcony. We are hoping to plan another trip next year! Thanks for sharing your condo with us.

Family “girls” get away

Unit was well appointed and lovely. The view was amazing and we saw whales every day! We found the tubs in both bathrooms difficult to get in and out of though. Also had an electrical flash that blew up my straightening iron and singed my hand and tripped the gfi. I reported immediately to Portoro by phone call and they still hadn’t repaired the outlet in 2 days; NOR did they contact me… I sent them photos and texts asking for updates, but nothing. Was disappointed in their lack of communication. Loved the unit location and appreciate the owners sharing it!

A perfect spot for our stay on the central coast. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The laundry detergent was extremely aromatic, which we did not enjoy. Communication with the management was tricky at times, but it ultimately did not affect our stay. Overall, highly recommend z

Tidepool view

Lovely unit at the end of the building. We had a view straight down to a tidepool where the gulls would bathe and play. Well-appointed and comfortable. Dishes were heavy for my senior parent to lift, but we managed. Definitely needed the elevator for my senior parent!

Peaceful and Relaxing Environment

We spent 4 nights hunkered down, unwinding, and feasting. Loved how well equipped the kitchen was for cooking all our meals. Balcony chairs were perfect for ocean viewing.

Views and whales!

Views were great but unit badly in need of updating and less 'Severe' paint & furnishings - has huge dark wood Mediterranean pieces that are too large for the space and so not 'coastal' along side excessive quantity of beach small decor pieces and entire unit painted mustard yellow with matching carpet...and cheap throw rugs everywhere - constant tripping hazzard. bigger issue was constant road noise louder than the surf when Windows or Sliding deck door was opened. That was a big disappointment. No instructions for tv. Complex is nice but this particular unit just wasn't great considering the high nightly rate and excessive fees as well as the unrelenting highway noise
