This property is being squeezed for its very life. When we drove up, we looked at one another In disbelief. The property is in poor condition and it’s obvious owners don’t care and aren’t even trying to maintain the “resort” at all. At nearly $300 per night, the condition was reprehensible. Staff is friendly, but greets you with a diatribe of what is no longer available or open (restaurant, hot tub, sauna) and that the property was supposed to have been razed a year ago, but here we are. We were told that they knew all the websites out there were wrong about what was going on with the resort, but they couldn’t get them changed. In the room, broken countertops, scarred flooring, stained and torn upholstery, damaged fireplace, cracked drywall…and much more. We were afraid to use the balcony. No housekeeping service during the stay. Linens and towels unworthy of the $300 a night price tag. Outside you had to use steep/rickety stairs. The one constant that didn’t disappoint: the ocean was right THERE. We could see and hear it. It was beautiful. Unfortunately, access to the beach was unsafe. Clarion should be ashamed for the condition of this resort. It was once a nice place to stay.
