Rooms were pretty rough. They still have carpet which based on the colour is pretty old and the room smells strongly of smoke. Shower stall is small and my 6'2 husband was cramped. The seals on the doors and windows are quite old and the we could hear the conversation of the neighbours outside while they were smoking. The wind also whistles through all night. (hence the name of the hotel, lol)

Great budget motel. Some rooms with ocean views. Chinese Restaurant Wing Wa stumbling distance. Fine dining at Tidal Raves across the street. Bedding was clean . A little musty smelling but, didn’t notice it after awhile . If you’re super picky pay more and stay elsewhere.

Dude at front desk was a jerk. Whole place was old and musky. smelled moldy. Parking was a joke. Web site showed an ocean view but ocean was across the street and blocked by trees. Was gonna say at least there wasnt any bugs. But morning i fount slugs and gnats in bathroom.

We were really happy staying here, it’s in a great location and the man working the front desk was very nice when we were there. The room was really clean in my opinion compared to other cheaper motels I have stayed at in the past, there’s old carpet in the rooms but other than that we had no complaints at all, I also felt safe staying here and there didn’t seem to be weird people lurking around which is also a plus. Would recommend to stay here if you are wanting to stay on a budget!

When we arrived we were hounded about not being on site by 9:00 PM, as we drove from Idaho, that was a tall task. He said they almost cancelled our reservation. They charged our credit card. He gave us a key, we went to that room, opened the door and there was a man wrapped in a towel standing there, confused as we were. We promptly apologized and left, back to the office, the night manager complained about his staff and tried another room only to have cleaning issues. Just not a fun experience.

This has to be one of the worse motels I’ve been in a very long time. From the check-in, (papers with everyone’s names on them along with what we paid were all on display on the counter) and the room itself should be gutted and rebuilt. The room was so outdated, shower leaked all over the floor, toilet seat hasn’t been replaced in decades and the carpet was worn and in some places, missing. Can not stress enough how poor this location is.

Was charged almost $200 for a 1 night stay. The carpet was wet, spongy, and the room stank so bad we had to keep the loud bathroom fan on and window open. We knew it wasn't going to be a Hilton, but a BYOB, bring your own blanket? Nasty. Had there been a different option, we would have left. Heater was stuck on- room was like a microwave. The toilet had urine sprinkles on the seat. Shower rusty, could barely turn the handles. Linoleum peeling away from the floor. Spider webs, and a wasp hanging out in the room. Some lights not working. The beds were so spring loaded that if your partner had to blink their eyes, you felt it. Sleeping? Forget about it. I thought Expedia actually monitored their offerings, so at $200, we expected some level of comfort. We were wrong. The entire place needs to be renovated- the amount of deferred maintenance was unreal. $64/night would have been fair. $200? Just a gouge. Expedia and Four Winds were huge let downs. There has got to be better options.

Definitely won't be staying at this place again. The view was great. Definitely was not worth what we paid to stay there. The smell was horrible in the room, doors didnt open and close properly to the bathroom, vent in bathroom didn't work.Place definitely needs to be revamped. We definitely would rather stay in a motel 6.
