Clean and comfortable, close to train station. Good Breakfast. Friendly staff. Very good value for the money. A walk from the center of town, but not far. Convenient and free bus service just outside the door that goes through town to Davos Dorf.

Good accomodation at end of town

Good hotel at the end of Davos. Parking extra but indoor pool free. Accomodation and furnishings a bit old in parts but still serviceable. Good for ski-ing parties. Rooms clean and of generous size and beds good but don't lean on balcony edges as made of very flimsy marine plywood. Hotel staff very obliging and pleasant. Overall good value for money.

Affordable option when running the Swiss Alpine

This hotel is conveniently located less than 10 minutes walk from Davos Platz station and is probably only a 15 minute stumble back from the Sports Stadium when you have finished one of the Swiss Alpine races. This is the "right" side of town for this event, the alternative being the Davos Dorf end. This means that you are closer to the race's start / finish area and the centre of town. It isn't cheap to stay in Davos unless you don't mind sleeping in a dormitory at the YHA Youth Palace, this hotel is one of the only other 'affordable' options in town. The hotel itself has a strange layout, is a little dated and probably needs a bit of a referb but it is very clean and everything works so considering the reasonable cost and included breakfast I'm not really complaining. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was of a reasonable size. I would definitely consider staying again next year.

Do not travel with big luggage

This is a tour hotel. Be prepared for large groups of guest from individual tours and a high noise in the restaurant. If you collide with them at the breakfast you will have to wait until food is replenished... 100 of people will empty any buffet. Rooms are not easily accessible... you will have to carry your bags up a short flight of stairs, then go long ways to the rooms. Elevator is fast however. Expect alpine room design, which is good... although they seem to be remodeled recently, the bathroom is however dark (brown tiles, bad lighting). Everything very clean. Cheap toiletries. Location is o.k., however we were there in the off season and most of the Davos restaurants were closed. Receptionist actually sent us to places that were closed because of vacation.

Good location, very friendly staff

This hotel is close to everything, train station, main shopping and Schatzalp mountain rail. We got the free pass for it and the local bus from the hotel. Breakfast buffet is little skimpy but OK. Internet works only in the lobby and it;s free Good choice for a short stay in Davos

Entäuschung pur!

Das Hotel: Ein Betonklotz der in die Jahre gekommen ist und überhaupt kein Charme ausstrahlt! Das Servicepersonal (wir hatten zum Glück nur Frühstück) sind alle weit weg von einem Gastfreundlichen Auftreten! Kein guten Morgen wie haben Sie geschlafen oder eine andere nette Begrüssung. Es war eine reine Abfertigung schnell, schnell mit einem schrecklichen Filterkaffee und Milch in einer ekelhaften Plastikkanne einfach unabetitlich. Das Buffet sehr dezimiert… nicht einmal Honig gab es..! Ebenfalls mussten wir Chf 15.- für eine mini Garagenplatz pro Nacht bezahlen in einer engen Garage aus dem letzten Jahrhundert. Die Zimmer sind sehr alt und haben keinerlei Charme! Das Bad seit den 80 er Jahren nicht mehr renoviert… Abluss war verstopt etc. Das Bett katastrophal und der TV so klein dss man die Lupe benötigte. Wir werden sicherlich nicht mehr kommen- Preisleistung stimmt überhaupt nicht!!

Das Hotel ist einfach und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Das Personal ist freundlich und das Essen gut. Leider ist am frühen Morgen das Duschen mit warmem Wasser erst möglich, nachdem der Wasserhahn etwa 10Minuten läuft. Vorher kommt nur kaltes oder kühles Wasser. Nach ca. 7 Minuten ist es lauwarm. Tagsüber geht es zwei Minuten schneller. Dennoch ist es nicht sehr umweltverträglich so viel Wasser zu verschwenden.
