Skiing holiday in Davos

Hotel is well located in Davos Platz centrum, but do not be fooled about the closest ski lift to Schatzalp, because this region is not part of Davos-Klosters skipass! Older rooms of the hotel have a little bit wear and tear and very limited number of electric power sockets. Our request to change the room due to background noise from underlying Casino was handled with friendly professionalism and extra credits for the staff about this! The new room was a modern one with good supply of electricity. Breakfast is good, but the breakfast room and coffee machine queus can get quite crowded during weekends.

In Ordnung für eine Nacht oder auch zwei

Das Hotel (Fassade/Balkone) wird aktuell umgebaut, daher war der Preis relativ niedrig. Aus der Beschreibung war das zwar nicht ersichtlich, aber uns wurden dafür die Parkgebühren erlassen, was für uns in Ordnung war. Der Empfang war nicht unfreundlich, hätte aber definitiv freundlicher und herzlichen sein können. Das Zimmer war soweit in Ordnung. Das Bad sauber aber nicht mehr zeitgemäss. Für den regulären Preis wäre ich enttäuscht gewesen. Das wir für die Benutzung des Pools extra gezahlt haben hat sich jetzt nicht sehr gelohnt.

Personal war sehr freundlich nur ich hatte mir den Urlaub ein wenig besser vorgestellt. Das Schwimmbad war am Boden schmutzig und am Abend lief die Musik bis halb 3 in der Früh Ich habe schon viel Urlaub gemacht und war auch in viele Unterkünfte aber so ein Frühstück hatte ich noch nie .Auswahl null die Wurst war für mich nicht mehr einwandfrei und Butter und Marmelade kann ich auch zu Hause essen. Leider werden wir dort keinen Urlaub mehr machen

Gutes 4 Sterne Hotel

Wir waren über Neujahr im Hotel und es war angenehm ruhig. Das Hotel hat mein Mann gebucht und ich habe (bevor wir dort waren) die Bewertungen gelesen. Es hat mir etwas Sorgen bereitet, da diese mässig waren. Wir wurden freundlich uns zuvorkommend behandelt und das Zimmer war mehr als grosszügig, sauber und angenehm. Dann zum Frühstück, ich weiss nicht was die Leute erwarten? Es war alles ausreichend da, frisch, sauber und ansprechend präsentiert. Es war super.... Was noch zu sagen ist, wir waren mit unseren 4 Hunden dort. (o.k. Hunden ist etwas übertrieben, das Gesamtgewicht aller ist keine 20 kg) Aber es war überhaupt kein Problem. Im Gegenteil, das Personal hatte freude an den Vierbeiner.... Um es kurz zu machen. Wir werden wieder kommen. Es war eine gute Erfahrung. Herzlichen Dank

Als ältere(79) Singelreisende wurde mir ein Balkon-Zimmer mit Hinterhof-Idylle zugewiesen. Ich war traurig und fühlte mich abgeschoben und teilte dies an der Reception mit. Am 2. Tag durfte ich dann ein wunderschönes Zimmer mit Südbalkon beziehen. Dafür möchte ich mich nochmals herzlich bedanken.
