Amazing bay views! Sunsets, dolphins, boats, sea birds, and the gentle sound of water meeting sand. What more could we ask for?! House was comfortable with everything we needed for our week stay. Short walk to the gulf. Host was amazing with quick texts to our many questions. Highly recommend the Islanders restaurant, Pirates Pizza, and the bakery. We will be back!

Everything about this home was great. The view to the bay was stunning. The dock was really great! Covered and great for fishing. Stocked with everything you could need. Very clean! Beds were super comfy. Kayaks were fun. Plenty of gear for whatever beach activity you might wamt to do. Short walk to the beach. We'll be back!

A great space for peace

Alabama Hideaway has everything to meet your needs and then some. Pete and Darlette have thought of every necessity for a great week. The setting was beautiful and peaceful. A perfect place for equal parts rest and recreation!

A wonderful time was had by all. We caught flounder early in the morning in the bay. We also enjoyed the kayaks. The kitchen was well stocked. We'd definitely book again.

Amazing Vacation!!

We saw dolphins on the first day from the deck!! House was excellent, no concerns. We enjoyed sitting on the deck playing games and watching sunset! Great place to relax and rewind!

Great vacation spot

We really enjoyed our time on the bay side. The house had everything we needed and felt like home. Fishing was great off the dock. The Boat lift was a great extra.

Perfect getaway!

It had everything we needed. Back porch to sit on in evenings, pier for fishing and beach area to relax. It was nice to have all the beach and fishing gear available to us.

The owners were great to work with. They had everything you need for your beach stay....a wagon, blue tooth radio, coolers, beach chairs, kayaks, floats...they thought of it all!

Beautiful house!

This was our first time in Dauphin Island and we loved it. The house was beautiful. It had the most equipped kitchen we've ever had. The veiws were perfect, the house was perfect. It was an excellent beach getaway.

Fantastic house on the beach

You will not be disappointed staying at this super clean, perfectly decorated amazing rental property. If you want to vacation on Dauphin Island this is where you want to be!!!! We had such a great 2 weeks bc of how great this home is.

Dauphin Island Retreat

Really well appointed and clean cottage perfect for two couples or a couple of families with small children. Great location with access to both the bayside and gulf side. Due to predominant north wind we spent most of our time on the gulf side...even managed to catch some keeper size whiting and one nice keeper redfish. Pete, the host, was very responsive and checking into and out of the cottage was very easy.

The Bay & the Gulf

We spent nearly all of our time on the bay / beach ... right out the back door, relatively private, very relaxing. The kids fished & Kayaked Good location for walking & running.
