Dauphin Island is a small and peaceful island ( approximately 17 miles), a nature lovers paradise and a rare jewel these days. The island offers an old time beach feeling with a slow pace,quiet and uncrowded beaches and non-commercial feel. Great place to build quality memories and just relax and "Chill Out". The beach is dog friendly, offers beautiful soft white sand and plenty of space to set up and spend a relaxing day. The sunsets on Dauphin Island are absolutely amazing. There are times of year that you will feel that you have the beach all to yourself! Plenty to do if you get tired of the beach. There are bike paths and rentals, golf cart rentals, fishing charters, golf and a swimming pool at Isle of Dauphine Complex. For the kids there is a skate park, playground and mini golf.
