Very nice greeting from Lanang on check in. Compact room, not given river view as usual. Room fine, very comfortable bed with YouTube available on TV. Breakfast fine but VERY crowded even at 630am This hotel is trendy, 30 mins walk from the beach, and for Da Nang pretty expensive at $50 a night. Staff are overworked and underpaid. I enjoyed my stay.

Pleasant enough stay

Check in system seemed over complicated & there was a 3 way staff conversation before they were finally able to sort it. For my second consecutive visit there was a problem with availability of clean towels by the pool. I eventually had to take the elevator from the 25 to the 5th floor to bring to the attention of staff. There needs to be more frequent checks of the pool area to check on available towels.

The view from the hotel was exceptional but that may be the only thing that I really liked about the hotel. The furnitures in the room and in shared areas were pretty nasty with visible stains. Shower in the hotel had only half of the door so water splashed everywhere. Hallways were dark and had no AC. Breakfast that was included with the room was great with different variety of foods but a girl staff told my mother-in-law and I that we can’t come down to the breakfast twice in one day. She spoke in Vietnamese which I do not understand so my mother-in-law had to translate for me. I was frustrated with what she had done because no where in the hotel guidelines said that we can’t come back to the breakfast twice in one day. We came back when the breakfast was still going on so I don’t know why it’s an issue. I think for an up and coming hotel, they should not do such a thing to a paying customer when all other things in the hotel are just mid. Disappointed with the customer service. Will not book this hotel if I every visit Da Nang again.

The property is fairly new. It's quite nice if you have a river view. The breakfast buffet was probably the best I have had in south Asia. But if the hotel wasn't new, it would be 2-3 stars-therefore it is overpriced. I also felt stranded. The area is quite deserted. Rarely saw anyone outside. No one on the sidewalk, no one on the riverfront, no one on the Dragon Bridge. It is very, very from center, from beach or points of interest. There is no public transportation at all. The hotel had no idea at all about if or where I could rent a bicycle or scooter or car. There is very very limited shopping in the area- a few minimarts selling overpriced water and things like potato chips. Very limited dining. No where to buy any groceries, for example, cheese. I would not stay here again. The next time I am in Da Nang, I'll be sure I am centrally located (or at least on beach) and have access to bicycle, and not paying a five star rate for a 2 or 3 star property. The access to the hotel is also like a 2 star rooming house. There is no lobby- you just get into an elevator and go up to your floor. That is not horrible, it is just not worth the price of a 4 to 5 star.

The price to value ratio is pretty good. I booked the Queen Lite with a City view. The room was on the smallish side but the layout was good. It worked for me but if you got a lot of luggage or plan to spend time in the room, you might want to choose a different room. The amenities and breakfast was great but would have preferred more western variety for breakfast. Only thing I would have changed would be to book a river view as it would be quieter.
