Stayed early October 2019. Took a Grab Taxi from airport to hotel for $3 (75,000 VND). Check in was simple and efficient. Staff doesn’t appear very fluent in English but no big deal. I was on the 11th floor with a spectacular view of the ocean. Breakfast is included in the restaurant and they have a large variety of foods. The room has a fridge and a safe. WiFi is strong. There is a pool and bar in the roof. The beach is a block away and there are restaurants everywhere. Highly recommend and would stay here next time I’m in Da Nang.
When we arrived I was informed that I was going to have to pay another 200,000 for my son. Somehow, they had it written that we were a group of 4 adults, and we are a family of 5. I wrote the property in advance making sure there was enough room for us, and they responded yes, that there was, with no mention of extra money. I was really upset and the front staff could care less. It was a terrible way to start the stay at this hotel. By the pictures on the site, I thought the hotel would be worth the cost. I booked a VIP room, and it was nothing close to VIP at all.
We are a senior couple Stayed at Aria Hotel 9 nights. When we arrived we were shown to our " Standard Room" which had no window but I had a print out from the Agoda booking which showed that I had booked a room with a window. Because it was very late at night we were asked to stay there the night and they would look into it the morning. To our delight, they upgraded us to a balcony sea view large room with a great quiet and effective air-con, a very good shower. The staff were fantastic. Very pleasant, caring, helpful and always smiling. The pool which we spend a lot of time at, is smallish but crystal clear. Aria is situated in a perfect spot close to the beach, a verity of eating places, all sorts of shops, K-Marts, Banks where we had no problem exchanging Aussie dollars ect. Breakfast served in a beautiful Art Deco dining room, was plentiful, fresh fruit, mostly Asian food and an egg bar, good coffee however, I had to keep reminding them to keep the food warm. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in saying " go ahead, book it but maike sure it is a room with a window if you are going to stay for a few days."
I’ve not written a negative review before as I don’t like to, but I was so appalled by the service here I’ve decided to write one. After going to check out on time, we were held back while the cleaner checked our room. Minutes later the cleaner came down with our room towels and bedding, threw them on the reception area floor (where other guests were standing) and proceeded to question us about small stains/marks on each item (admittedly there were minor makeup marks on the towel). We were told the cleaner had tried to clean them but couldn’t get the marks out. Blatant lies as laundry takes longer than 3 minutes. They told us we must pay 300,000 VND. Utterly ridiculous but I paid 200,000 VND as we needed to get away in a hurry. This isn’t a lot of money but it’s the principle of the matter and the way it was handled was awful. Whilst writing... the hotel is more basic and rundown than the photos make out, the pool is very small and only 5 sun beds are available. The positives are the rooms are a good size and the hotel is close to the beach. To conclude, I’m sure there are better hotels to stay in when in Danang!
We stayed for about 4 nights, first night was not good at all, the room was very very small and we requested moving to another bigger sea view room, as the first room was not having any view at all, the staaf are friendly, food was good Recommended only because it's near the beach and you can reach the pa na hills and lady buddha and marble mountains nearer than hoi an
This hotel is in a good location (5 mins walk to the beach) We had a sea view room which was nice, there is a patch of land in front that is empty which I guess in the future will be built on, but clear at the mo. Room was really clean and had two double beds. Small swimming pool on the roof which has a great view. There is also a small bar on the roof, with good prices. The gym isn’t worth it, located in the bar and not great (get up early and go for a run on the beach) The only thing that was a little disappointing was the breakfast. Lots of the food had gone cold and not labelled properly. There was a label for cereal, but none to be seen.
Positives about this hotel are it is close to the beach it has a nice swimming pool the rooms are big and the staff are friendly, the shower is great too. Negatives are the beds are too hard the hotel over looks a dump of a site even though you can see the beach from the room this is very off putting the breakfast only caters for Asian so therefore never ate there once in a 4 night stay had to eat out for breakfast every morning the air con was not good it was so warm in the room which is not great when you have been out all day in the heat I think all in all the hotel was ok but I wouldn’t recommend or stay again as I didn’t think it was worth the price for the standard of the hotel
Best experience for accommodation and to offer the happiness during our stay. Arrival to the hotel with friendly staffs at reception. Our room is large and clean, has very good sea view. The location is awesome, has many stores, massage shops and restaurants nearby, and only 5 mins. walk to the beautiful My Khe Beach. The staffs are nice and helpful. Overall its's a great place to stay. Good atmosphere, will return to Aria again.
- Good location just 1 minute walk to the beach - staffs are friendly and helpful with sweet smile - Clean room but look it small - Sea view from hotel is great - sea food resraurants are nearby walking distance - Will stay with the hotel next time visit Danang again.
