This hotel is very clean except for the bed. My sister end up getting 3 bug bites on her stomach.
This hotel is trying to look fancy but absolutely is not --- the cheap version of fancy. The beds are rock hard and the windows are single liners which allows you to hear everything whats going on outside the hotel. Absolutely no noise control windows which is just horrible. I was unable to lock my balcony door even. When I finally asked for extra cushioning to make the bed a bit softer I was laughed at by one of the front desk members. Breakfast staff extremely rude. Even have to pay for a little milk subsided since I am lactose intolerant. Just asked for a little bit for my coffee.
King Sea Facing room is nice with clean balcony (but bathtub draining is super slow). Front desk and BF buffet staff are dedicated and professional. Good breakfast variety. Rooftop infinity pool looks clean. Each booking gets 1 free afternoon tea party which is a nice touch to make Mandila a bit different than other hotels (but please play some soft classical music instead of the loud banging music). We stayed at 4 different hotels over 2 weeks in Da Nang and Mandila is our favorite. Keep improving for the better and you will get more guests.
Super close to the beach! All staff were helpful and attentive. The room was comfortable and spacious. The pool and bar were both excellent. The infinity pool is small but it wasn't crowded. The view from their pool is AMAZING!
Very nice place, clean, comfortable. The only downside was that we were not allowed to play cards there. They stated that it was against Vietnamese law - seriously?
